Call of Duty Black Ops 2, $1 Million Tournament Kicks off in April
Activision has announced a huge Call of Duty Black Ops 2 $1 million tournament, will be taking place in Hollywood, CA on April 5-7th.
The tournament is sponsored in part by Electronic Sports League, Major League Gaming, Microsoft. This tournament will bring the top 32 teams of the “world’s most skilled multiplayer teams” to compete in head to head in Call of Duty Black Ops 2. There will be a live-steam of the event.
Players can register for the event here, teams of four can hone their skills in the February season of League Play in Black Ops 2 for Xbox Live. The top eight teams from League play will earn spots, as well as a trip to LA for the April tournament.
Teams competing in the MLG 2013 Pro Circuit for Call of Duty Black Ops 2 will also have a chance to get in the tournament. The MLG Winter Championships on March 15-17th, in Dallas Texas will bring in the top eight teams.
The ESL’s European Finals will also bring in the top eight teams. The reaming spots will be filled with teams from Asia, Australia, and Brazil. Check out the video below for more details.
