The BioShock Series will Continue, Despite Irrational Games Closing down


Irrational Games closed their doors this past week, with Ken Levine taking a small development team to work within 2K. Some might spell that as the end of the BioShock series. However, that is not the case. A Take Two spokes person discussed the matter to Polygon.

2K has Nothing to say on BioShock for PS Vita

BioShock on PS Vita was one of the first games announced for the system. But the game never materialized and now 2K says there is “no update” for the title. Former Irrational head Ken Levine has stated himself the game did start development, but the business side was lacking between Sony and Take-Two. More details and information can be found on CVG. Ken Levine Shutting Down Irrational Games, Most of the Staff to be Laid Off


BioShock creator Ken Levine has issued a statement on the company’s official site, that he will be closing down the studio soon. Most of the staff has been laid off or will be laid off soon. The team will be much smaller going forward, so the Irrational Games we knew off will be all but gone. 

BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 2 Launches on March 25th


Irrational Games’ Ken Levine has announced that BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 2 will launch on PSN, XBL, and Steam on March 25th. Get more details on the DLC here.
