Criterion Developing a “Unannounced Racing Title” for 2013

The Developers behind the acclaimed Need for Speed Most Wanted and Burnout Paradise, are rumored to be working on a new racing title for 2013.

The ‘unannouced racing title’ is listed for a release this year, according to various Linkedin accounts. The listing fall under ‘EA games for 2013′, but it is not clear weather it’s a new IP or a sequel.

Criterion did say a return to the Burnout franchise was possible, however studio lead Alex Ward dismissed the rumors of a direct sequel to Burnout Paradise. Ward tweeted this the other day.

So they definitley have something there working on. What do you guys want to see? Burnout or Need for Speed? Or maybe something new?

Criterion announces that all future NFS games will arrive on Wii U simultaneously….EA has them make Burnout to screw Nintendo.

Sadly, that is entirely possible. I fully expect 2 more burnout games before we see another Need for Speed. Either that or EA pulls some crap to make the game suck. If Criterion had a different publisher, I would be all over Most Wanted on the Wii U…and any future product.

We'll see, I hate how EA hates Nintendo over Origin. The PS3 and Xbox 360 don't run Origin, the PS4 and Xbox 720 don't run Origin. Why would EA expect Nintendo to let them run their online game store as an Origin store front?

      It's crazy….. screw EA
