Crysis 3 not on Wii U Because of Business Decision Between EA and Nintendo
The CEO of Crytek, Cevat Yerli has shed some interesting information regaurding the lack of Crysis 3 on the Wii U. He claimed it was out of this hands and it was a business decision between EA and Nintendo.
In a interview with Digital Spy, the CEO said he would like to see Crysis 3 on the Wii U, but stated that it won’t because, “It’s a business decision between EA and Nintendo.
“I’d love to see it on Wii U,” he continued, “but what I love to see and what gets done at the end of the day are two different things. Even so, I could initiate it but someone has to sell it, right? If that business decision doesn’t make sense, or seems to not make sense for them, it’s… not possible for us to make it. We can’t publish ourselves, and that’s the bottom line.”
That’s unfortunate Nintendo and EA couldn’t reach a deal. I would actually be interested in this game if it was on Wii U, the Gamepad offers a lot to shooting games. Oh well, it still comes out on the PC, PS3, and 360 on next month. What do you guys think? Lost opportunity for EA, or doesn’t really matter?
