Deep Silver not Planning on Bringing Games to the Wii U

Deep Silver, the publishers of Saints Row 4 and Dead Island Riptide, has stated they are not planning on bringing out their games to the Wii U anytime soon.

GameInformer asked the Deep Silver COO if they have any plans for the Wii U, and here is what he had to say.

GI: Do you have next-gen plans or Wii U plans?

DS: Not Wii U. With other companies, I’ve been very successful with Nintendo. With Wii U, the Nintendo market right now and their audience is not who we reach best. It’s not something we’re entertaining in the near or foreseeable future.

So Deep Silver is not interested on making money on the Wii U. What do you guys think? Are any of you guys looking forward to Saints Row 4 or Dead Island Riptide?

By the way, this is some of Deep Silver’s work below….

Well at least they're honest about it.
I wouldn't have bought these Awful games(My opinion) anyway. :/

Yeah, Deep Silver's games are overrated, Splinter Cell Blacklist just announced for the Wii U…. so I'll take that, over Dead Island Glitchtide

I really could not care less if these games are on Wii U. If I wanted to play these games I have PC and PS3.

I had a little bit of fun with Dead Island, but the glitches and boring gameplay made me unable to finish the game.

I enjoyed the original Dead Island….but I'm not at all interested in Riptide. Even then I only really had fun playing it with my friend who also had it. I don't think I have ever finished a Saints Row game, the story just isn't there for me and it is all a bit too insane. Wacky is good, but SR needs to be institutionalized.

It really doesn't bother me at all that Deep Silver isn't going to be bringing their games to the Wii U. Their biggest console games (that they didn't buy) consist of poor PC ports and a Borderlands/L4D hybrid that doesn't do either particularly well.

They'll probably consider changing their tune when the Wii U has an install base of 10-15m by the end of the year and the PS4/720 have the same struggles the Wii U did at launch….plus a high entry price that will keep some people away.

The original Dead Island was fun but I really don't think it's a game that needed a sequel. Saint's Row 4… I don't even want to talk about that awful game.
