Epic Mickey 2 The Power of Two Bombs in Retail Selling 270K in the US
Disney’s Epic Mickey 2 The Power of Two has failed to break 300K in the US by the end of 2012. Across the same timeframe the original Epic Mickey broke 1.3 million units.
The Metacritic score was not kind to Epic Mickey 2 The Power of Two, compiling a meager score of 59% on the Xbox 360 and PS3. Although the Wii version did slightly better a 64%. The franchise planned to have two more games but after these sales, I doubt that will happen.
I played the original Epic Mickey, and while I thought it was cool, it never pulled me in. Hopefully Warren Spector and Junction Point can turn it around if they get another chance.
