Ex-Rare Employees form Flippin Pixels

Five awesome and former members of classics like GoldenEye, Banjo Kazooie, and Perfect Dark, have formed a new studio named Flippin Pixels.

Reports of the new studio came from Gamesindustry.com and is headed up by Steve Brand, lead software director is James Ackroyd, art director is Steven Hurst, design director Shaun Read, and the technical director Gary Richards. All who left Microsoft/Rare last year.

The studio will focus on mobile titles with one game already in development and other games in the works.

Check out what the team is doing on websiteBook of Face and Twet.

You guys already know what I think of Rare, although its poorly worded, I think I was just really mad with how turned up. I played Rare games for a large part of my childhood and one of my favorite games, Donkey Kong Country Returns is based off their work.
