Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate download file sizes have been revealed. Caution, get a 32 GB memory card for 3DS if you don’t already have one. 

Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon will hit your memory card for approximately 6,748 blocks from the eShop. Which isn’t too bad, however, its Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate that will put a dent in your SD card. The download for the popular monster slaying game will be a massive 14,275 blocks.  Basically doubling up Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon.

My suggestion to any serious 3DS player is to go out and get a 32 GB memory card. They are dirt cheap, got mine for $19.99 online. And once you get a 32 GB SD card, you’ll be set your a long long time. I’ve got every demo on eShop, and a bunch of apps, multiple full size downloaded games, including Fire Emblem Awakening, and I still have plenty of space (Over 190,000 blocks!)

Nintendo was very smart to use SD memory for their primary source on the 3DS.
