Luigi’s Mountain Dark Moon will be packed full of content. In addition to DLC, the game will feature local multiplayer and some sort of online component. 

In a feature by Famitsu, the magazine confirmed local multiplayer was a lock, mentioning “download play” and “online support”. However their are no details on either of these features.

Famitsu did discuss some new gameplay mechanics though, stating with the Darklight. Luigi uses this new rainbow colored machine to light up areas by darkened enemies. Ghosts will pop up from cursed spots, and if you manage to capture them, the area will be destroyed.

Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon is set for the 3DS in March for the US and Europe.
