Microsoft has sold over 75 Million Xbox 360 Consoles Worldwide
Microsoft has revealed the Xbox 360 has sold 75.9 million units worldwide.
Microsoft was the first current generation console to release in 2005. The early release cost them as most first generation Xbox 360 had a hardware defect that cased massive overheating of the motherboard. This in turn would lead to system failure, it was pegged the ‘Red Ring of Death’ by the gaming community.
Microsoft looks to be turning their attention to next generation with the Xbox 720.
