Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii U will get Cross-Region Multiplayer and Off-Screen play in April

Capcom is planning several new additions to Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate over the next year. In April, players can expect an update that adds off-TV play and cross region multiplayer.

So players in America can play with players in Japan for instance. More downloadable monsters and quests are planned in the next “several months” as well. The first set of quests will be available at launch to download. Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is out in March for the 3DS and Wii U.
