Monster Hunter Tri Servers will be Shutdown at the end of April

Capcom has announced that the Monster Hunter Tri servers for the Wii will be shut down in order to focus on Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate for the Wii U.
Players will have about two months after the launch of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on the Wii U to wrap up whatever they want to accomplish on the Wii version. April 30th will be the last day the Monster Hunter Tri’s servers will be online. Capcom has not announced a transfer program so Wii owners can retain their loot, armor, and weapons.
