New Monster Hunter 4 Details from Famitsu

Monster Hunter 4 is roaring towards it’s summer release in Japan. And in the newest edition of Famitsu, there are some interesting new details about the weapons, monsters, and gameplay.

Monster Hunter 4 will now feature a new snake dragon called Garara Ajara. The monster uses its’s body to wrap it’s prey up, like bind from the Pokemon series.

MH 4 will also features a new charge attack in sword mode. There will be new whirling slashes and finishing hits for dashing attacks. The Charge Axe will now have horizontal finishers, and finishing attacks the charge into the sword mode.

Attacking with the charge sword uses sword energy, which is also used for charged attacks.

I love me some Monster Hunter, and this one looks to be the best in the series. Hopefully Capcom releases Monster Hunter 4 for the Wii U and 3DS is America, that would be sweet.

I think it will all depend on how MH3U sells here in America. Hopefully, it will sell well.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is actually selling really well on the 3DS and Wii U worldwide, so I think we will see Monster Hunter 4 in the West.
