PlayStation All Stars team hit with Sweeping lay-offs

Sony has confirmed lay-off have hit SuperBot Entertainment, the studio that created PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale.
Mike Birkhead, a designer at Insomniac, first broke the news on Twitter saying “around 20″ people were let go. Sony later confirmed that this was indeed true, and the numbers were accurate.
“SCEA can confirm that SuperBot Entertainment did make a reduction in their workforce today. The studio and SCEA remain committed to supporting PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale post launch, including developing the title’s forthcoming DLC releases in the coming months.”
Its sucks to see people lose their job, but as we all know, Sony’s gaming division is losing a ton of money. If the game you make doesn’t do well, you might get axed. Hopefully these people can find new jobs soon.
