Ratchet & Clank is Heading to the big Screen and it Looks Funny

Sony has announced that Ratchet & Clank is going to be receiving a movie in 2015. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Sony seems to taking all the precautions so this movie doesn’t turn out like 99% of movies based on video games: garbage.

Insomniac will be  “playing a hands-on role with the film’s production, screenplay, character development, and animation consulting.” Vetran Ratchet & Clank writer, T.J. Fixman, who has written all of the recent Ratchet & Clank games, will be writing the script.

So that’s cool, their getting the people from the game, to write the movie script. What do you guys think? Put your thoughts below.

This is ridiculous. Just because I don't worship Nintendo I get comments deleted?

This is actually really cool. Ratchet and Clank were some of my favorite games from the PS2 days. I'm looking forward to seeing this.

Since its animated, its already got something going for it. It might be a good film. The only problem is that Ratchet and Clank was never really a game with a strong story. The stories from all the games were not terrible, in fact they were good, but they weren't that strong. Now a Jak and Daxter film, I would have thrown money at the screen right away.
