Resident Evil 6 PC Dated for Steam & Recommended Specs

Resident Evil 6 has finally been given a  PC release date by Capcom and we go all the details below. The game will launch via Steam and will come with a host of Steam features like cloud saving and achievements. More information below.

 

You will be able to purchase Resident Evil in two forms: Digital Download and Physical Retail copy worldwide on March 22, 2013. Both versions will include all the DLC from the consoles for free for making you wait so long. This includes the harder “No Hope” difficulty setting.

Here’s a rundown of the game’s Steam features:

· Cloud saving
· Steam Achievements
· Friends support
· Game overlay
· Leader boards

Here are the game’s minimum specs:

· OS: Windows Vista®/XP, Windows 7, Windows 8
· Processor: Intel® CoreTM2 Duo 2.4 Ghz or better, AMD AthlonTM X2 2.8 Ghz or better
· Memory: 2 GB RAM
· Hard Disk Space: 16 GB free hard drive space
· Video Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800GTS or better
· DirectX®: 9.0c or greater
· Sound: Standard audio device

 Here are the recommended specs:

· OS: Windows Vista®/XP, Windows 7, Windows 8
· Processor: Intel® CoreTM 2 Quad 2.7 Ghz or better, AMD PhenomTM II X4 3 Ghz or better
· Memory: 4 GB RAM
· Hard Disk Space: 16 GB free hard drive space
· Video Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 560 or better
· DirectX®: 9.0c or greater
· Sound: Standard audio device

Meanwhile, in console-land, Resident Evil 6 will receive a second title update on January 22nd that makes the following changes:

Agent Hunt Mode
· Available without having to complete a campaign
· Selectable criteria for joining a session:
Stage selection
Region selection
Players can determine whether to join a session based on campaign player’s settings such as infinite ammo or friendly fire setting
Stage selection
· Individual stages within chapters can be accessed at any time once completed
General
· QTE assist
QTE assist is currently part of the Amateur difficulty level, and automatically completes QTEs for the player. With this update, players can optionally activate QTE assist on any difficulty level.
· Adjustments
Some sections of the game have had their difficulty adjusted to provide an improved experience
