Sonic Boom – Off-screen Development shot Surfaces Online

One off-screen development shot of Sonic Boom has surfaced online. It looks like the game is in debug mode because of the text at the top right hand corner of the screen. Check out the full shot below. 

Sonic Boom launches in 2014 for the 3DS and Wii U.

    Interesting that this game seems to be using DX11 too. Now no more excuses.

      It's not. Wii U can't run the proprietary DX11. It can, however, run similar modified versions of DX11.

        Interestingly, too, PS4 can't run DX11 either. The only system that really CAN is XB1. The only reason PS4 is able to run at all is because of both modification AND Open GL (similar to what WiiU has), or at least that's what I remember.

          Right. I guess one could say that Wii U and PS4 CAN run DX11, as in they are both capable of doing so, but they don't have legal permission.
