In Nintendo’s latest earnings report, Super Mario 3D Land has outsold Super Mario Galaxy’s sales in the first 13 months of being on the market. More details below. 

The outstanding portable game Super Mario 3D Land, has sold over eight million copies since it was released in November 2011. Super Mario Galaxy, that launched in November of 2007, sold 7.66 million copies after its first 13 months on the market.

Both games are fantastic. I love the 3D Mario Games. I have collected all the secrets and stars in Super Mario Galaxy 1, 2, and 3D Land. I even beat the secret level in Super Mario 3D Land, where you have to collect all the Star Coins and get to the top of the flag pole in all stages with Mario and Luigi.

I can’t wait to see what Nintendo has in store for the Wii U, 3D Mario.
