Fire Emblem Fates Sells more than 242,000 Copies in Japan for Launch – Rumor

Fire Emblem Fates

The Media Create will have the final say this Wednesday, but it seems like Fire Emblem Fates outsold Fire Emblem Awakening at launch. Fire Emblem Awakening sold 242,600 in its first week back in 2012. 3DS hardware sales hit 84,000 units that week. But don’t expect the same, 3DS market penetration was far lower back in 2012.  Apparently, the game is selling out, even with new shipments coming in. The Nohr and Hoshido versions seemed to be selling similar.
