Tecmo Koei Profits up 291.7%, Dead or Alive 5 Sales help

GI.Biz had the scoop on the full numbers. The three months ending in December 31st 2012, Tecmo Koei’s financials made a large turnaround. The Company has returned to profit, with their Software division making a massive comback.
Sales are up 9.8% sales increase year-on-year, equating to ¥14.6 billion. The division’s operating income went 83.6% to ¥2.5 billion.
There was a 291.7% increase net profits, which ended at ¥2.6 billion, while revenue was up 6.5 % at ¥22.2 billion. Tecmo Koei’s Online and Mobile divisions saw a slight dip. With a 10% drop in sales, ending on ¥3.8 billion for the quarter. Operating income for the department fell by 44.2% to ¥418 million.
