Ubisoft has told investors that the next game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise will feature a new main character and will be in a different time period. More details through the link. 

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said that the game will feature  “all-new Assassin’s Creed hero, within an all new team and time period” and will be “another major leap forward for the franchise”.

Guillemot also said the game will be before April 2014, but refused to say which platforms it will release on.
