The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is open World on ‘top of the line consoles’
The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt has been unveiled for next generation consoles and PC. Its fully open world, and boasts some impressive graphics using the new CDRED Engine 3.
A NeoGAF member scanned the newest issue and shed some light on new details. The Open world is 20% bigger than The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and will take up to 40 minutes to cross on horseback.
The story is not divided into chapters or acts. The open world is made possible by new steaming technology of CDRED Engine 3.
The main character Geralt has fully recovered his memory, is not interested in fighting for a fraction. He ends up wondering the wayside, helping people, slaying monsters, and solving mysteries.
CD Projekt RED did not name any consoles this game is coming to, but they did say it will be on “all top-of-the-line consoles”. GameInformer described the game as a “must see next generation RPG.”
