well THAT doesn't surprise me about DuckTales Remastered would hit #1, now all we need Capcom and WayForward to do is Chip 'n Dales Rescue Rangers and Goof Troop Remastered

    • *NormalGamer*

      And Darkwing Duck. ^_^

      • Jon Turner

Future support from Capcom is all but guaranteed at this point.

        • *NormalGamer*

It may as well be if Capcom can keep up their quality for their IP’s and learn from their past mistakes.

          • Jon Turner

Oh I bet we'll see another RE. RE:R may not have lit up the charts on the WiiU version, but apparently it still met expectations according to Capcom, and with the success of MH3U and now Ducktales, they won't be leaving WiiU anytime soon.

  • Millzy101

I got both splinter cell and W101 on Friday and must say I’m loving them both, wonderful 101 is well wonderful the demo doesn’t do the game justice and it’s a really good demo.

    • Jon Turner

I'm curious as to where W101 will chart on the eShop sales charts in both Europe and Japan.

      • RicardJulianti

It could actually do pretty well in EU considering the whole Pikmin 3 deal. Doesn't get much better than 30% off.

There's probably the most hype for the game in the US though. If Nintendo really wants to push digital, they need to stop making such awesome box art, haha.

        • Jon Turner

Wasn't there a similar deal for it in Japan too? It seems to me that Nintendo is encouraging people to buy this digitally.

  • Ednice

    I regret not buying SC

I would never expect Splinter Cell come anywhere near the top 20 purchased ESHOP titles…..and here we are. Trolls become exposed one by one. This proves that if the Wii U gets a quality port (or at least semi-quality, what Splinter Cell is), and it's not five months to a year LATE, then yeah, we BUY good third party titles. We don't buy dog sh*t like most of you trolls out there. We actually have a sense of quality.

    • Jon Turner

I don't know if Ubisoft was really expecting huge numbers for Splinter Cell, but hopefully they're satisfied with this. It shows that there IS an interest in this title. Kahhhhyle told me on WiiUforums that some stores have been selling out of this title physically too.

  • MortyF1

Great 😀 Capcom, bring more great games 😀 I'm gonna buy Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate later sometime 🙂

    • RicardJulianti

That game is going to consume your life.

It is the sole reason I haven't really felt any sort of game drought….and why I haven't played my 360 since early May, and my PS3 since June. The first 9 hours or so are a bit slow but after that you'll get addicted. I've spent around 200 hours…and I still have a ton of stuff to do. If I were to try an farm for armor/weapons/charms….I could easily spend over 300 hours. There are some people that have spent over 700….it's insane.

It was also the first Monster Hunter game I've ever played. Now I NEED them to localize MH4, haha

      • MortyF1

I really love when a game take up play time. The more time I can put into a game the more I like it.

It shows there are content enough to keep people playing for weeks and even months. So can't really wait to play it. First though I'm gonna get Wonderful 101 😀

  • Twinkie

Nice to Splinter Cell doing well. My copy just arrived in the mail and I hope many others will buy it. Hopefully Ubisoft's other games this year will do well on the Wii U and they'll consider bringing The Division and The Crew to it.

    • Jon Turner

It didn't exactly chart in the Top 20 in the UK charts though. Still, good for this to get Digital sales. Ubisoft must be fine with this.

  • ChariotMan7

Damn Duck tales is number 1. that's is really what's up.. I can't wait to download that game. and Crop Splinter Cell Blacklist. The more sales the Wii U has the better for Wii U owners and Nintendo!

    • Jon Turner

You should download DuckTales. It's easily one of the best games on the system so far. Accessible, playable, beautiful, and oodles of fun. "Splinter Cell" is good so far, but holy heck it's HARD! I have gotten nowhere near the end of the Prologue stage.

Impressive to see DuckTales triumph once again in first place again; Earthbound, Art Academy, Nano Assult Neo, and the SNES SF trilogy all are doing great as well on eShop.

Can’t wait to download them all the moment I finally get a Wii U. ^_^

  • timg57867

For an even more notable achievement, if you select All Best Sellers for North America, Duck Tales is currently #19. In less than a week it's already placed #19 of ALL BEST SELLERS IN NORTH AMERICA!!! DANG! Looks like Capcom's decision to bring this to Wii U was a smart one. Perhaps this will give them incentive to bring many other downloadable games to eShop too!

    • Furious Francis

Nintendo fans don't buy 3rd party games? BullSh**

      • siolore

15th on the EU overall best sellers.

      • Darkwing

My thoughts exactly Furious. Little by little these dumb accusations of Nintendo platforms are dissolving away. First they said oh it’s not powerful enough games like Monolith Soft’s X and Indie developers say otherwise. Then they said it might be difficult to develop for cue in Criterion stating that it was like a switch to code for the system. Then it was there were no games and looking from now to the end of the year it looks very promising on top of the launch titles and indie support. All that’s left now is improving the install base. And if Pikmin 3 is anything to go by that will not be an issue either.

      • Matthew Wesley

Darn right! If you put good games on nintendo systems, we will buy them.

      • Mr. Hobo

Lol. You having to sensor things on your own website.
