Xbox 720/Durango tech Specs Updated Leak, Rumored PS4/Orbis Details – Rumor

Here we go again. The Xbox 720 or Durango, and the PS4 or Orbis, have more rumors coming out. Now the full tech specs of the Xbox 720 have been revealed. Along with more chatter about the PS4. 

VGLeaks has the scoop on this one, the dev kits for the Xbox 720 are a little less than nine months old. he Xbox 720 tech includes an eight-core CPU from AMD running at 1.6GHz, and based on Jaguar tech.

The report has stated the Durango will have 8GB of DDR3 and 32MB of ESRAM, the two different types of memory will work together to produce a throughput of 170GB/s. The ESRAM will be accessible by components and factors, not just the consoles’ graphics core. This could lead to ease of development and other steamlining tools.

The Xbox 720 will also have a number of dedicated hardware accelerators. One devoted to audio and the other devoted to video encoding. Microsoft might be trying to expand its media capabilities to a whole other level.

Kinect might have its own input and not be built in, the Xbox 720 will also be USB 3.0 compatible. The Xbox 720 will also have a 500GB Harddrive minimum and a 6x Blue-Ray drive.
