ZombiU on PS4, Xbox One and PC Strips Local Multiplayer, Gamepad Interactions Moved to the TV

ZombiU

Many wondered how ZombiU would play without the GamePad on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Ubisoft has detailed what they have done to transition the experience.  Many of the GamePad interactions have been moved to the TV screen. The local Multiplayer has been removed completely,  but two more melee weapons were added. Get the full details here, Zombi launches on August 18th digital only.

    Oh wait, I’m sorry, I confused the sales of ZombiU with Just Dance, because there’s no way in hell 800,000 copies of ZombiU were sold.

      Not only that, I still don’t believe that ZombiU was “not even close” to being profitable. That many sales for a title produced on the budget it had? Ubisoft shoulda made serious bank on it.

    I don’t even like the GamePad. This port still shouldn’t exist, it feels like a slap in the face to Nintendo and their fans. I won’t buy it.

      yeah because combining a Tablet with a gaming console is a really bad idea right and adding a second screen to game play omg! what a disgrace. the map looks so amazing on mario Kart 8, which I play on my pro controller and put the game pad on the stand so I can see the map in a much much better way. dont even get me started on off-TV play.

    yet again the WiiU comes ahead of the competition first the WiiU delivered us true 1080p/60fps games, than it became the console with the superior line up of games. WiiU is the better version, as it is with Mass Effect 3, as it is with Smash 4, as it is with Monster Hunter 3. Free internet and the biggest line up of games any console could ever offer. Third Party devs fail yet again.

            that is your opinion which at this point means nothing cause The port for Wii U is excellent and, very original, you get a map on the game pad which is very convenient, the added features of the game pad make it so much better plus additional content Mass Effect 3 WiiU is the definitive edition that is a FACT. try again you keep hating while I keep gaming.

            yes and dying light is just generic zombie survival game with a shitty story and terrible AI, the combat system while being bearable is a tragedy, shitty stam system,crappy iinventory/crafting system.The story was a generic outbreak story with a finding the cure side quest, while having a shitty bad guy as your final boss. so many side quests in the game to distract you from the shitty main storyline and how terrible and generic it truly is. but of course this is all “opinion”. Dying light is still a generic run of the mill zombie outbreak/cash in on the zombie craze plaguing the industry. while some form of uniqueness in that it tried to distract you from the short story campaign by being a side quest whore,swinging a bat with a shitty stam system, and also pretending to be Einstein while crafting generic weapons with elemental effects. Dying light was/is not a great zombie survival horror game.

            Because you can’t. It’s wasn’t crap. I had the game, finished it, and still got it. Wii U is the superior verison.

    You would think that they would try and implement some kind of second-screen experience for the PS4/XBONE through the Vita/tabled or something. I feel that taking away the map and items on the second screen will make it a less interesting and way more generic experience.

    The melee weapons don’t changed the comba other than making the game easier. The experience just seems watered down. This game out of all games didn’t need to be ported. Without any new content this is a downgrade as technically the game was fine on Wii U even if 3 years later of course these versions will look and run better. I don’t feel this game is even survival horror when everything is just so convenient and doesn’t stand out. This is going to be like Dying Light in which it is maybe talked about briefly then just fades off the radar. Its a waste of time and resources when all these people who get to play in my opinion a great game the wrong way and won’t understand what makes it unique and tense.
