The Console games are pretty buggy also and the users score are trash compared to the critic reviews. There is definitely a story here for anyone who wants to tackle it, but we will keep talking about Nintendo’s E3 and how it doomed Nintendo.

Damn, This is getting serious with these games. I’m crying right now. Lol.

  • Kingofthesofa

Good old third party values ; make sure the PC version is gimped to deflect attention from the bug ridden console versions. Staaaay fresh 😉

How unfortunate. Since I do not have an Xbox One or PS4 (and have no current plans to get either in the near future due to summer classes), the PC version the most convenient deal I could get right for this situation. And this is how WB handles a port? All I can say is that I’m going to see a lot of videos about this.

  • ActivesiN

well that is unfortunate, I have been playing for a few hours on Xbox One and it works fine

How can they still stuff this up when the consoles are x86 architecture and running on bottom end laptop parts from 7 years ago….

  • RicardJulianti

Thought people were over exaggerating like they usually do. Ran the in-game benchmark and it said I should easily get a locked 30.

Flying around, I get somewhere in the 5fps range. Combat is a bit better in the 20’s. Driving the batmobile is fucking impossible.

Also I fell through the map. If I bought it on Steam I would get a refund, I still might check with GMG about it. I usually balk at the term “unplayable mess”, but that’s what this is. If nothing else, I hope it gets patched soon and often, by Rocksteady so they can fix the shit that Iron Galaxy took on the code.

Half tempted to double dip on PS4 version because that at least runs at 30.

From what I heard the PC port is taking a lot attention away from pretty glitchy console versions of the game also.

    • Mythosa

I hadn’t heard anything about bugs or glitches on the consoles, just the PC so far.

      • freelancepimp .

        all over youtube

        • Mythosa

I’ll give it a look, like I said, this is the first I have heard of it on consoles.

Wow and this game was delayed how many times? smh

          • Mythosa

Dude. Almost all of that is arkham city. A bit of origins and PC.
            That’s pretty much bunk dude.

          • freelancepimp .

dude what are you talking about. almost everyone that came up for me was on ps4.
Let’s not do this man. There was plenty of glitches in that search that showed the ps4 button schemes. Maybe thats optional on PC; then so I am wrong. But those look like ps4 games and xbox one games.

          • Mythosa

            Thank you.
Do those pop right up with your search link? For me it’s almost all arkham city.
I thought you were on Crack.
            My apologies.

Third party devs don’t want PC to do well either.

  • stoneman

so whats the excuse here. PC is afterall the most powerful platform, if the game doesnt run well on pc what does that say for the other systems.

see this is why i dont care for third parties, if they cant bother to make the pc version playable then why should expect a working game period on consoles.

i got a download code for arkham knight with my video card, ill be downloading it later tonight and will be giving my impressions of it later.

    • Mythosa

Well, there is the part that the PC port wasn’t done by Rocksteady. I mean, I don’t excuse this, but it was an entirely different company than Rocksteady that did the PC version so it’s not the same issues on all platforms.
Also, Origins wasn’t made by Rocksteady either. Actually, on the Wii U, I had no bug issues at all, from start to finish.

      • stoneman

WB published games are at best a mixed bag. For every Mordor there is an Mortal Kombat X and don’t get me started on the Arkham games. People have some strange revisionist history when it comes to those. Lest we forget, City had performance problems on launch and a game breaking bug that deleted peoples saved games. Origins was buggy as hell too, including one which would cripple your ability to progress through the main quest line and didn’t run brilliantly either. Why there was an expectation that Knight would run well on launch is a mystery. Think a little further back than the publishers previous game before making a decision on whether or not to trust them this time. Anyway, enough preaching, you get the point and hopefully at least one or two of the naysayers did too.

        • Mythosa

You’re right . There have been issues the games, but none have been as bad as this on PC so far. Besides origins most have been fixed. No saying it makes it okay though. Games should be virtually bug free when released and there shouldn’t be any game breaking bugs/glitches.

  • Hardin Twentyfive

It might be just me, but if you can get a game to run on Xbox One and PS4, you should be able to run it on PC

  • Titangamecube

Ahem….I and many others have said: We told you so.

  • Mega Prime

So much for the PC master race.

    • RicardJulianti

It has nothing to do with that and you know it. It was a shitty port handled by an outside dev that didn’t know what the hell they were doing.

Had it been made by Rocksteady themselves (like the first two games were) it wouldn’t have these problems.

      • Mythosa

I haven’t heard any issues with the console versions, but I’m trying to look cause freelance pimp said there are a bunch. I have seen one bug. Any thoughts?

        • RicardJulianti

Digital Foundry played on unfinished PS4 code, worst framerate dip was about 26 during some intense batmobile stuff, no stutter, no drops. The fell through the map once around halfway through the game.

I’m willing to bet the PS4 version is exceptional in comparison. I’m more irritated than angry since I got the game and the season pass for less than the game itself.

I have plenty of games from the steam sale to hold me over until it gets fixed. And I know in the future with a better system (not that mine is any slouch) it’ll be fine

    This seems appropriate.
