LAN Adapter is now Required for PlayerEssence’s Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Tournaments
Yo! What is up PE faithful, this is Francis and I wanted to give a quick announcement concerning PlayerEssence’s Smash Bros. Wii U tournaments. From this point going forward, all players will be required to have LAN adapters in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tournament play. In the last two tournaments, we’ve been having major lag effect matches. I understand some of you have fast internet, but we want to get the most speed possible out of each connection.
The next tournament should be taking place at the end of September, I just purchased a new PC that should allow me to stream in actual HD and at 60fps! Look forward to the actual tournament date later. Remember, most USB LAN adapters will work with Wii U, you can even use a Wii branded one. I wanted to get this announcement out there so you guys have plenty of time to purchase a LAN adapter before the next tournament. Our next tournament will be sign-ups only. Hey PE faithful, I just wanted to remind PE Lightning League members to get their LAN Adapters for Smash Bros Wii U in order to have online matches have as less lag as possible. Gathering all the feedback from the 3DS tournament has revealed that despite some having 20MB connections, the wireless connectivity severely limits the connection speed of matches. So in order to have the best connections, and to include more people for qualifying, LAN Adapters are highly recommended. Find a LAN Adapter you can purchase below.
