Mario Kart 8 - New DLC Includes Baby Park, Big Blue, Neo Bowser City and more
Nintendo has just revealed that Baby Park will be making a comeback in Mario Kart 8! There will be more DLC for the smash hit, which includes: Ribbon Road (GBA) Neo Bowser City (3DS), and Cheese Land (GBA) are the returning courses. Nature Road, Big Blue, Lingling Metro, and more Animal Crossing tracks. See all the footage past the link.

Mario Kart 8 Spring DLC is in the Final Stage of Development
Good news for those looking forward to the Mario Kart 8 Spring DLC. The second batch of DLC for the title is in the final stages of development, according to the Japanese Miiverse community page. The targeted release date for the DLC is this May. Via: Nintendo Everything
Wii U Software Sales are up 200% from the same Period Last Year
Nintendo president and CEO Satoru Iwata has stated that Wii U software sales are up 200% YOY due to games like Mario Kart 8. From May on Nintendo was able to release a steady flow of games that dramatically boosted software sales compared to 2013. Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros. alone outsold all of the first party Wii U games Nintendo produced in 2013. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse launches this Friday for Wii U. Via: Nintendo Everything
Mario Kart 8 has sold 4.77 Million Units Worldwide
Mario Kart 8 has sold an outstanding 4.77 million units worldwide since its’ release in May 2014. Nintendo announced the good news in their latest earning report. So much for selling 1.99 million units by March of 2015 huh Polygon?

Nintendo has revealed that Super Smash Bros. for Wii U has sold over 1.3 million Units in North America alone (physical + digital). Not to be outdone, Mario Kart 8 has sold over 1.7 million units to date in the US alone (physical + digital).
