    People who hate on the gamepad are just grasping at straws. It is just like the PS4 controller with its touch pad. The only difference is that even after 2 years the gamepad is working as good as new where as you probably have already gone through 2-3 sony controllers. In the end the “extra-cost” of the game pad is made up by replacement peripherals that you WILL need.

    Developers who use the game pad as an excuse are the worst though. I’d respect a dev who would just come out and say they werent interested in developing for Nintendo platforms since that is their right. However the one’s like Kojima who would shovel BS about not knowing what to do with it are nothing more than spineless little shits. Just say what you mean and live with it.

      I agree. Devs that say they don’t know what to do with it likely shouldn’t be developers anymore. Can they make a basic game? Likely. Bring something new to the table? Unlikely. It takes a little bit of imagination, if they are struggling with that then they really shouldn’t be in the business of CREATING something.
      I honestly think the majority of gamepad haters out there just haven’t used it, or the Wii U, at least not beyond a demo booth in a store. From my experiences with people I know, both my brother and best friend were fairly against the gamepad. However after using it, getting their own Wii U’s, they are more than happy with them. Another very good friend of mine uses it when necessary, but generally he prefers a dual shock controller because that is what he is used to and grew up using.

    well, gimmick is needed for console, that’s is the different with pc, make console unique not just about unique in game but also how we interact with the game

    interactivity is KEY no one is against twin sticks and buttons but its 2015 for gods sake NEW THINGS NEED TO BE SUPPORTED

    this is what makes wiiu the most advanced gaming device ON THE PLANET wiiu isnt hated for being GAY like they pretend its hated because braindead morons are INTIMIDATED BY IT they dont get it because anything more advanced than pressing a button FRYS THERE PHONEGAMER BRAIN…..

    gamepad doesnt even need to be held to be of service take FPS why not wii remote and chuck a fps whilst gamepad sits by your side acting as a TACTIKE HUD-PAD with real time killstreaks and drone cam etc etc etc

    this industry needs a kick in the backside

    gamepad has 15 x higher resolutin motion over dualshock 4 and 3 more axis this gives game pad mm precise gyro for fps-car steering many advantages
    wiiu supports wii remote and plus

    its a system with UNLIMITED POSABILLITYS

    pes wii allows all 11 team players to be controlled at the same time PS4 FIFA ALLOWS ONE PLAYER AT A TIME TO BE CONTROLLED HOW IS THAT NEXT GEN

    i loved mouse pointing and controlling my WHOLE FOOTBALL TEAM IN PES WII it revolutionized soccer gaming

    then mr sony fan controls a single team member with the cpu DUMB SHIT controlling the rest
