Splatoon is the Highest Selling Wii U eShop game of All-time

If I’m not mistaken, it says that Splatoon is the highest selling game on the Japanese Wii U eShop, not the worldwide Wii U eShop. Still, an excellent achievement nevertheless.

The success of this game really makes me excited for a sequel. I’m also glad it’s doing well, because it increases the chances of them giving us more new IP.

And it is well deserved. I predict a third-party knock off to come soon, though. As well as a Sony ripoff (they did it for MK and SSB). I wonder what the next excuse will be for why this game did so well without being a Mario, Zelda, or Pokemon game, and being a new IP at that.
