Tilmen from Nintendomination has put together a couple comparison videos of Bayonetta 1 on the Xbox 360 to the Wii U version. From what I can see, the Xbox 360 version is darker than the Wii U version.
According to the new owners of the Darksiders IP, Nordic Games, Darksiders 2 had a development cost of $50 million. Nordic Games owner Lars Wingefors stated that they can make a game the same quality of Darksiders 2, but nowhere near as expensive. He feels the development cost of $50 million is too high.

A recent trend in gaming is to have games split up into seasons, or episodes and sprinkle them out through a few weeks or months. And while I can see the business aspects of this strategy, as a consumer, I hate it. When I buy a game, I want the complete package. I don’t want to have to wait to access some part, or be left on a cliffhanger right in the middle of the game. News has broke that Silent Hills is under “serious consideration” for an episodic format. And Resident Evil Revelations 2 has been confirmed to be released in episodic form each week. How does the PE community feel about episodic games? Do you love em, hate em, or don’t care? Let us know in the comments section below.
This year’s Japanese game awards had a stacked plate of great games. Yokai Watch and Monster Hunter 4 tied for the Game of the Year Division. The 3DS was flat-out dominated the list, as the system took 10 out of 17 awards. Pokemon X & Y won the best sales award and the Global Award for a Japanese product, in addition to the excellence award. Super Mario 3D World, The Last of Us, and Dark Souls II all won awards for excellence. Get the full list of winners here. Via: GoNintendo

I want to give a 100% disclaimer on this one. I am not part of this mailing list. Many of the sites I have called out have banned me in their comments over similar issues in this article. So here is the breakdown from Breitbart:
“Several prominent gaming journalists across America are part of a secret mailing list on which they discuss what to cover, what to ignore, and what approach their coverage should take to breaking news, Breitbart can reveal.”
Read the full article over at Breitbart, then come back to PE to discuss. And its funny too, I just got done saying I don’t like Polygon’s Ben Kuchera. Oh, and this reminds me of something RazorFist said…..”a lie agreed upon”
That is what is said according to Shigeru Miyamoto from Nintendo. With his recent interview from EDGE Magazine, the legend has come out and spoke that the industry has become this fickle with where things are going now as well as saying that he hopes that Nintendo will be aggressive in innovating with newer ideas in both hardware and software. My two-cents about this is up for you to hear! Enjoy!
You guys have to check out this commercial for NBA 2K15 featuring Houston Rockets star James Harden and New Orleans Pelicans center Anthony Davis…. it’s really funny.
You guys know how I feel about Digital Foundry’s recent Bayonetta 2 frame-rate analysis. Some serious issues with the way they do things have been lingering for a while now. However, I’m not alone. A user by the name of Lernaean on NeoGAF has brought about the same concerns with Digital Foundry’s methods as I have, but he goes a little further. Bayonetta 2 is currently being slammed on GAF right now by various users over Digital Foundry’s tests. Lernaean has not only answered those critics, but provided good commentary on the whole situation. The post below is quite lengthy…. just giving you the heads up Thanks NovusPerfectus for the tip!
