Sonic Team lead Takashi Iizuka has quelled the rumors that Sega will not be producing Sonic games for home consoles. This comes after Sega announced a shift to mobile and PC games over console games. In a recent interview with 4Gamer, Iizuka stated that Sonic Runners was made for mobile because it was the most suitable platform for the game. Curve Studios has confirmed that OlliOlli will launch on Wii U and 3DS on March 5th. The game will support cross buy in all regions for both platforms. So if you buy the Wii U version, you’ll get the 3DS version for free, if you buy 3DS version, you’ll get the Wii U version free. Curve stated they worked closely with Nintendo to make this happen. Sega’s Yakuza Zero is coming to the PS4 in 1080p and PS3 in 720p. However, both version look VERY similar to each other. Dualshockers has rounded up high quality screenshots of both versions side by side, and it seems Sega isn’t doing much to enhance the PS4 version. Check them out here.

Capcom has announced that the PC version of Resident Evil Revelations 2 will not support offline play, despite the Steam page saying it will. Capcom stated that they choose to optimize the PC versions with custom resolutions and settings. The PC version will still support online raid mode play in a free update shortly after launch. Digital Foundry has taken a look at the PS4, PC and Xbox One versions of Resident Evil Revelations 2. And it “SEEMS” like the team responsible for the PS4 version had trouble optimizing the game. David Jaffe Speaks out on The Order 1886 and Review Scores “No Double Standards” both “are Damaging”
David Jaffe, the creator of God of War and Twisted Metal has spoken out against low “clickbait” review scores in addition to “clickbait” high scores. He feels that both are damaging to the industry in some form or another.

Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda has stated that he knows there is demand for the Dragon Quest games overseas. He has ideas on how to make the franchise successful in the west. Matsuda says the franchise has a bright future overseas, fans should look forward to more announcements in the future. Dragon Quest Heroes was officially announced for a Western release today. Square Enix has confirmed that Dragon Quest Heroes will launch on the PS4 this year. However, it seems the PS3 version will not be localized. The game will be available both physical and digital. Thanks to all the users that pointed out my mistake.

Bladestorm Nightmare producer Akihiro Suzuk has confirmed to GamingBolt that his game will run at 1080p 30fps on PS4. The PS3 version will run at 720p 30fps, while the Xbox One’s resolution is not final due to that version using dynamic resolution. BladeStorm Nightmare launches on PS4 and Xbox One in March.
