    I always thought it'd be interesting to see Professor Layton make it in as a playable character…

    Wont happen. Game is rated E10. They removed the Fire Emblem character Tharja from the game and she was only a trophy because they wanted to keep the rating down. It simply wont happen.

    Would be awesome, but won't happen. Imagine her Final Smash, getting naked and summoning her hair demon from hell to chomp her opponents. 'Nuff said.

      They could simply restrict it to looking like zero suit Samus' alt skin really. That was fine with ESRB so i'm sure they wont mind Bayo who's not even as busty as zero suit.

        True, but Bayonetta's image is already associated with being a sexy slaughteress, and the ESRB don't always rate games as they should be rated.

    I'm sure this will be a really good game, as a lot of effort has been put into it.

    I think we might see Bayonetta as a DLC character. I don't really think Nintendo is THAT concerned about mature content on Wii U having now seen the age demographics, and the fact that the vast majority of of Wii U owners are adults (unlike the 3DS age demographics). Even so, as DLC I suspect they could restrict purchases to those over the age of 18 if need be.

    Well I hope she is a dlc character for smash. Having a Nintendo direct before Bayonetta 2 launcehes could take attention away from the game. I thought it would be better to do the direct next week.

    since almost all nintendo franchise's are represented. I think the dlc is going to consist of stages and skins. it would be awesome if nintendo's dlc focused more on none nintendo franchise's to add. since amiibo's need to work with smash. i think we will see toad in smash as well as some iconic villians. even though bayonetta shows alot of skin, parents dont have to get the dlc for their kids version of smash. i think we will see bayonetta in smash. heres hope'n for her as dlc.

      Doubt it would just be skins… the info clearly says loading character DLC. Skins wouldn't consist of the type of code written.from the text. Its full character DLC

    50 things…Damn…What could they be? I got really excited when I heard Sakurai's 'unlocking Smash's true potential' just like an anime character who's been holding back and is now unleashing their full power.

    More Amiibo functionality? Smash TV (Like MKTV)? Stage Builder? 8-man Smash? Then there's the talk about unlocking characters by connecting to the 3DS or DLC announced that's currently being worked on and their plans for it. I guess they've been keeping a LOT under wraps and it'll be awesome to see how this Direct plays out since Sakurai is such a troll.

    Also, I called Bayonetta being in Smash 4 before Maximillian Dood! I'm Jus Sayin! I'm Jus Sayin! If it happens I want like my name in the credits of the PE X Nintendo about the Bayonetta announcement 😛
