Splatoon Sells 85K in July, Sales Cross 540k in North America

Nintendo has announced that Splatoon sales have crossed 540,000 units in North America. The new IP sold nearly 85,000 units in July for North America, when you combine digital and retail sales. Splatoon is easily one of Nintendo’s most successful new IP’s.  Via: NeoGAF

    It’s good for Nintendo to invest in a new IP that turns out to be very successful. Although it probably is too late for WiiU, the success of Splatoon shows that Nintendo has still got it. Selling over a million and a half isn’t too shabby at all.

      Honestly the game went from great at launch to fantastic now, so much has been evolved and been added it’s like a completely different game. When you can get it, it will be worth it :)
