The Legend of Legacy Release Date and Launch Edition Announced

The Legend of Legacy will launch in North America on October 13th in stores and digitally for $39.99. The Launch Edition is a limited collector’s edition that comes with a collectible outer box w/glossy hardcover, 40-page art book and 10-track soundtrack from the oldschool RPG. Atlus has stressed that the launch edition will be limited to pre-orders and will be in small quantities. Via: MNN

I’m really glad Atlus can make good pre-orders like this. It reminds me of Etrian Odyssey 3’s pre-order bonus of a sizable artbook spanning from the first to third Etrian Odyssey game.

Seriously, though, that EO3 pre-order bonus was the only reason why I found Persona Q’s special edition to be shameless and a rip-off. Not only was the artbook laughably lacking in content, but there was too little music in the CD. Technically, you’re paying $30 extra for the case, but those can easily be bought anywhere else like Target and at about half the price.
