Hey cool you got Ono with the blanka doll, I can’t believe he carries that around

    • http://playeressence.com/ PlayerEssence

      LOL, he does.

I will admit that as disappointing as this E3 may have been from a Nintendo’s fan’s perspective, the lineup is still promising, and I’m still looking forward to it.

Nintendo’s booth was rough man….. there was nothing. Microsoft had the best games.Tons of third party games and unique New IPs like Gigantic and Battleborn.

      NIntendo is in NX Mode

      • Titangamecube

So whats the NX huh? Do you have some evidence of it? Oh thats right you don’t.

        • http://playeressence.com/ PlayerEssence

Don’t need any evidence. Nintendo said they will be talking about it next year. The huge booth Nintendo had was filled up with three games: Yoshi’s Woolly World, Mario Maker and Star Fox…. that’s it…. Nintendo has a bunch of great games coming in 2015 like Xenoblade CX, Devil’s Third, Fatal Frame and more…. but its obvious to everyone at the show Nintendo is either holding back games to release on NX and Wii U, or didn’t feel like showing what they got for some strange reason.

According to Iwata the NX is a dedicated video game console they will discus more about in 2016.

          • Jon Turner

Interesting. I am interested in finding out more about it.

          • Titangamecube

You didn’t answer my question and didn’t provide any evidence. Whats the NX huh? Do you know what it is?

          • http://playeressence.com/ PlayerEssence

The NX is a “dedicated game console” according to Iwata. Its a codename for ther next dedicated gaming device.

Iwata said this. That’s what it is: Wii U is a dedicated Gaming Device, 3DS is, Gameboy and such.

The NX is their next gaming device in line. Just like the GameCube was codenamed “Dolphin”. And Wii U was codenamed: Project Cafe, or Expresso

Here is Iwata’s workds about NX:
“As proof that Nintendo maintains strong enthusiasm for the dedicated game system business, let me confirm that Nintendo is currently developing a dedicated game platform with a brand-new concept under the development codename ‘NX,'”

            http://www.gamezone.com/news/nintendo-s-next-dedicated-game-system-is-the-nx-3414306

So I answered your question. Its a dedicated game system.

          • Titangamecube

Not really, your disappointment leads you to believe Wii U is dead. Heres the thing: its not. We know absolutely nothing what the NX is other than “dedicated gaming device”. It aint gonna the hybrid system, its definitely not the Wii U’s successor. If anything, its the 3DS successor at best but thats due to precedents set beforehand. Don’t let your disappointment put thoughts in your head on your “dream” console because its definitely not going to be what you think.

          • http://playeressence.com/ PlayerEssence

I never said the Wii U is dead. I said they have moved on to making games on both and even stated they could release games on Wii U and NX.

Even if the NX is a 3DS successor, or Wii U successor, or third pilar. We know it will be a dedicated game system like we’ve had, just with a new concept. So it will play games, and Nintendo is working on those games now. However, without third party support, it will be hard for Nintendo to support the NX, Wii U and 3DS.

Looking at Nintendo’s games for E3, its clear they are holding stuff back. I believe many projects are being pushed to NX. They litterally had more than 20 demo stages with only 3 games for Wii U. E3 last year was FAR better. Nintendo has games for Wii U no doubt, the system is not dead, but the have begun work on NX games.

          • Titangamecube

They have always been in the next console cycle mode after one releases. They have been working on games for their next console cycle. Holding back? Only notable example of that is Star Fox for the Wii which was then put on the Wii U. Thats about it. To suggest that they could port other games the NX makes no sense but only in the context of Zelda and the console side. But signs point to the 3DS successor (because natural cycles blah blah) not a console or a hybrid.

Well, at least Nintendo’s E3 2016 is guaranteed to be interesting. I’ll probably wait a bit until I preorder it, though.

      • Jon Turner

I’m still looking forward to SFZero, XBCX, SMTxFE, DT, FFV… those games will be great for sure. Too bad a lot of them weren’t there at the show.

That said, yes, I DO hope NX improves on the failings of WiiU, including the third party department. It shows that Nintendo seems to have trouble supporting the console by itself.

        • http://playeressence.com/ PlayerEssence

Yeah, Xenoblade is looking good, and SMT X Fire Emblem

          • Jon Turner

Those two games look amazing. But I also liked Star Fox Zero. It’s just too bad WiiU ran outta gas. Hopefully NX will be a better system and do a better job at attracting third party support.

          • http://playeressence.com/ PlayerEssence

I played Star Fox Zero….its ok, but it needs more time.

And yet Microsoft’s conference bored me more than EAs.

        • http://playeressence.com/ PlayerEssence

Microsoft’s booth was actually really good though, they had a ton of great games, new IPs, good remasters, a lot of third party support, I spent a lot of time at Microsoft’s booth…..It took me less than 1 hour to cover and shoot Nintendo’s booth.

          • Max Patterson

I’ll give it to them that they made new I.Ps but none of them interested me. At least with Nintendo their games interested me even the so called ultimate sin of Metroid Federation Force and even the Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival has me more interested after learned some new facts on it. I’ll say Nintendo was at the bottom of the big three this year but in my eyes that Event wasn’t even bad just average compared to last years. And I understand you too Microsoft had more to offer at their booths, but unlike a lot of fans I’ve seen over the past two days I’m not one to judge a game until I have it in my hands to play.

    • Max Patterson

It was okay to me, I still feel people are overreacting.

  • Revolution5268

YO looks like you are the only one having fun this E3.
