Bloodstained Ritual of the Night will have over 1,600 Rooms, 1.5x the size of Symphony of the Night

Koji Igarashi has revealed that Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, will have more than 1,600 rooms. That is roughly 1.5 x the size of Metroidvania classic: Castlevania Symphony of the Night. The game is getting so big that his team needs to add more enemy types to fill the gaps. Bloodstained Ritual of the Night is set for PS4, Xbox One PC and Wii U in 2017. Via: MNN, Source: KickStarter

I hope this game will be good, but I feel as if Kickstarter in general isn’t something I actually want to support. I’m kind of conflicted.

  I never support Kickstarter.. No protection for your investment in most scenarios.
  
  I am glad others like Kickstarter and I buy Kickstarted games but my requirements are the same as any other game: Finished product for cash..
  
  Kickstarters do allow some things to get made that never would in other scenarios but they are often abused and I don’t like the fact you are preordering something so early in the development cycle..
  
  Look @ Chris Robert’s Star Citizen.. They have abused the shit out of crowdfunding for that IMO and made the crowdfunding the revenue source.
