    Splatoon is such an awesome game. What will they do in #2.

    I can already envision ink tanks! Maybe even some ink homing missiles as a new special in which you just tap on the touchscreen a random enemy you want to target, especially if they aren’t in your proximity. But it’ll be very tough to get around making a Splatoon 2 without the use of the GamePad, not just because of the gyro controls, but new gameplay mechanics such as the “super jump” and “inkstrike” would literally have to be omitted.

    Spla2oon for NX would be a great launch/launch window title for the NX. A Splatoon 3DS/New 3DS port would also do gangbusters.

    NX needs to have a VC that is already grinding its gears due to shear game volume. Nintendo should have a garage team 2 working on this.

    Imagine if Splatoon 2 was a launch title and they supported it for half of the consoles life cycle until Splatoon 3 launches. They should try that the series could be as big as Mario Kart and Smash Bros.

      I second this. NX needs to launch with must-have launch titles, and a continuation of this game would be a great asset.
