Camp Miiverse Summer Activities Cancelled due to Iwata’s Passing
Nintendo has made the right decision to cancel Camp Miiverse in light of Nintendo president and CEO Satoru Iwata, passing away. Full details from Miiverse’s Tom below.
Hi everyone,
We decided to cancel future Camp Miiverse activities this summer in light of the recent events. Please accept my deepest and most sincere gratitude to everyone who joined. We hope you had fun playing, and continue to do so playing our games. Thank you. Here is a message to all our fans from everyone here at Nintendo of America:
“The outpouring of support and the sharing of so many memories has been truly humbling and has helped us tremendously during a difficult time. Mr. Iwata leaves behind an amazing legacy and we will spend every day trying to honor him and what he created. Thank you for being the best fans in the world.”
