because the game is shit and splatoon is actually good minus the disk locked content, lack of content and missing online features but i digress

    • Nothing wrong with the disc locked content if its free, its sematics if they were to just release the content for free and it was actual DLC..either way, its free.

The only online feature its really missing at this point is voice chat . The patch in squade battles and custom games, plus new gameplay modes, level cap, ect.

The game’s out in Japan, so we actually know more about it.

      Surprise! It’s great.

All those clickbait images and videos you saw of the AI acting like idiots were taken on the lowest difficulty. Glitches are an issue, but not the huge game breaking mess they were made out to be. And the game overall is… FUN.

There’s a reason no one has been discussing the game’s actual quality, even though it’s out in Japan. All of the initial concerns have been proven to be either exaggerations or due to incompetence from the player.

    looks like a wholesome game

My guess would be that people have lost interest in this game.

Probably because it would be really difficult to make Nintendo out to be the bad guy in this situation: All heat about the project has gone towards Itagaki and Valhalla studios, and the game has been acknowledged to have had issues in development.

If you can’t outright blame Nintendo for something, people like Shokio, BlackBusterCritic, and Blackb0nd will just ignore it, because that’s not what their viewers want to see.

For some reason in general most non Nintendo fans put Nintendo under this magnifying glass where they only ever bring them up when it’s negative. Giving criticisms is fine but it’s sad the Wii U gets as much hate as it does Nintendo did a great job with its exclusives. To say the least it’s very under-appreciated.
