Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain runs at 900p on Xbox One, 1080p on PS4

I published a story yesterday saying Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain runs at 1080p on Xbox One, however, that is incorrect. Konami has confirmed the Xbox One version of the game will run at 900p, while the PS4 version will run at 1080p. Via: GearNuke

    I’m glad they upped the resolution, Ground Zeroes was 720p on Xbox One.

    1080p vs 900p is like not ever worth mentioning and 1080p doesnt mean better GRAPHICS and graphically its way over rated bushes shrubs etc look no better than early cod games

    Why buy an Xboxone when you can save yourself the trouble and get a PS4. They both have the same games in the third party sphere. Guess what though, with all the power that was touted before launch, only one of these consoles produces 1080P. lol.

      I prefer a Xbone over a ps4 cuz the ps4 fanbase is…How should i say that it doesn’t sound wrong?…Cancerous?

        Yeah, Microsoft has it’s fair share of fanboys, but at least most of them at least have some basic human decency unlike the Sony drones.

      Hmmm let’s see because the Xbox one has the games you want that’d be a good reason to pick one up. I’m kinda burnt out on my ps4 (making witcher 3 last as long as possible) other than that there isn’t much to play. Online games are mostly quiet. Heck most of the people I’ve come across are either playing destiny, battlefield or some crap sports simulator.

      Why get either the PS4 and X1 if you care about power. Just save yourself the trouble and get a PC.
      Being a Nintendo fan, I’m kinda neutral on this, but the X1’s exclusives make me lean towards it

      I am still interested as a fan of the series I simply hope it does not suck in a Resident Evil 6 kind of way where they deviated too far from the norm..

      If you played Ground Zeroes (ignore the price tag), the game is definitely one of my most excited games.
      Stealth was so polished and I believe Phantom Pain is gonna give me even more replay value than Ground Zeroes.
