Sony keen on PS4 Remasters in the Future

The Last of Us Remasted

Sony has already released a numbers of remastered PS3 games for PS4, and things don’t be seem to be changing anytime soon. Sony has stated it’s very likely we’ll see more PS3 remastered games on PS4.

“We know that there are lots of PS4 owners that have either never played games before or used to have an Xbox or a Nintendo who have never had the chance to play something like the Uncharted trilogy,” he said. “But it has to be a great game if we’re going to go to the trouble of remastering. I can’t talk specifically, but I think that it’s very likely that there’ll be more.”

  • freelancepimp .

I guess this is a god thing for PS4 owners. The seem to love remasters.

  • visoredgruntR34

We can all agree that if Nintendo did this with Wii U by releasing a bunch of HD Wii games the gaming community would have trashed them right? I remember the negative reaction to Wind Waker HD a 10 year old game coming back and the love Last of Us got people couldn’t wait to play the same game they played only a few months earlier.

Then they said Nintendo charged too much for Wind Waker HD and Sony did it right when they had those HD Collection upscales where they did hardly anything to them. Then God of War 3 Remastered hits and again Sony is cool and wise.

People get mad but the PS4 is selling on promises. Look how long it took for it to get a game it’s owners could truly brag about Bloodburne almost a year and a half. What happened to all of those “awesome” “Greatness Awaiting” launch games like The Order 1886 sold off of hyped but sucked. Where is Deep Down?

Go back to the Feb 2013 event and the overhyped games shown and tell me which ones were totally worth buying a new system for

    • Ray01X

      100% agree!

  • Terrare

I was only a wii then a wii u user. Missed all these last gen. These are all new to me, so keep bringing them on.

  • getagrip

    hypster-station

  • Kidking17

As long as they keep the new games coming this doesn’t affect me.

  • ednice

Whatever it’s true these games aren’t for the people who’ve played them already they’re for those who couldn’t, Sony doesn’t have many PS3 games I want to see re-released but I’m glad they remastered TLOU because now I’ll get to play it.

i honestly have to look down at playstation owners, there like something i wipe of my shoe..

    COD - FIFA-REMAKES what a joke

  • Travis Touchdown

And people like to criticize Nintendo for rehashing content.

  • Steven Higgins

Honestly I understand why they are doing this and its easy money but if they don’t start to make new games in 2016 onwards instead of only a few with mostly remasters of previous generation games, their lineup is going to look pitiful. Heck the big holiday seller for PS4 is the Uncharted Collection which is just embarrassing. They are good games but without multiplayer and if they don’t really overhaul at least the original Uncharted, its just another remaster that doesn’t justify why you bought a PS4. Sony better not just think just because they have 25 million + user base that they don’t need to try. Although can you blame them when users seem to beg for more remasters instead of new games?

  • Anal Fixation

Clearly no biased and hyprocritical additudes down here. /Sarcasm

  • awang0718

A good number of Xbox 360/Wii owners moved to PS4 this generation, so games like Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and The Last of Us Remastered make sense to introduce new gamers to PlayStation. However, games like God of War 3 Remastered don’t really deserve to exist without the first 2 God Of War games being remastered to the PS4 alongside it.

    • Travis Touchdown

      Damage control, damage control!

That is not an excuse. There is no reason to port such new games to new hardware in the way Sony has been doing. They could have easily made the console backwards compatible and be done with it…. that is, in fact, why BC is a thing.

    • D.M.T

Oh really? Why didn’t they just buy a PS3 to play those games? Why is it ok to buy a PS4 to play PS3 games? You make no sense.

      • awang0718

Because people want the new thing and not the old thing…

  • GreysonTetsuya

If they are going to do it it should be a true remaster instead of just an up-res to 1080p and a bump to 60fps. It should be a significant graphical leap like Windwaker to Windwaker HD, and it should have gameplay improvements or new content. And if it came in a series they should remaster the entire series.
It would be good if they went beyond the PS3 too, I would love a Sly Cooper Collection, Ratchet and Clank Collection, and Jak and Daxter Collection.

  • Wegotexclusives

I do like to play some old games remastered. Key word “OLD”

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/PwerlvlAmy GameNChick

Which totally contradicts what they said a year ago when they said dont expect a lot of remasters from them because they didnt want to make this gen seem like a rehash lol

    • Wegotexclusives

Sony president is A Magicarp!…All that flip floping XD

      • Travis Touchdown

        Kaz used Splash!

        It’s not very effective…

  • Agt_Pendergast

Are the PS5 remasters just going to be PS4 remasters of PS3 games?

    • WSJ4L

That’s what I was thinking. Buzzing for The Last of Us: Remastered: Remastered.

  • CilverKid520_Youtube_Twitch

Still scratching my head on how the PS4 sold so much. Red Knight warned us and we didn’t listen.

    • awang0718

      - Excellent western & eastern third party support
      - Sufficient first party support
      - Plethora of gaming + non-gaming features & capabilities
      - Stumbling competition (Xbox One’s early screw-ups + Terrible Wii U sales)

      • Gabe Hoffman

Hype lots and lots of hype

        • awang0718

Which is what a platform needs to succeed, since the video gaming industry is a “momentum” business.

          • D.M.T

It’s not the only thing a platform needs though.

          • awang0718

You are absolutely right. It needs good third party support and a good public image, which leads to hype and momentum.

      • Travis Touchdown

        >Excellent western and third party support

From WHO? There’s a reason people are saying this is one of the worst generations in gaming ever.

        >Sufficent third party support

I had no idea you were such a fan of such classics as The Order, Killzone, and TLOU: Remastered.

        >Plethora of features

That are easily imitated on other consoles or irrelevant.

        • awang0718

          “From WHO? ”

Activision, EA, Ubisoft, Take-Two, Warner Bros, Bandai Namco, Square Enix, Capcom, Zenimax…Whether you like these companies is irrelevant.

“There’s a reason people are saying this is one of the worst generations in gaming ever.”

Which is an opinion (from you and other Nintendo fanboys disappointed with the competition’s success) that has no bearing to this conversation.

“I had no idea you were such a fan of such classics as The Order, Killzone, and TLOU: Remastered.”

I’m never said I was. But clearly Sony’s first party efforts are enough to ensure that the PS4 is not seen as a third party-only box.

“That are easily imitated on other consoles…”
          …that obviously isn’t the Wii U…
          “…or irrelevant.”
          …to you

          • GreysonTetsuya

It’s funny how people act as though the PS4 is absolute trash and it’s selling solely based on hype, media bias, and consumer stupidity. I myself think it deserves to be selling the worst, but I will give it credit for what it did right.
It is selling well because they said all the right things when it was announced meanwhile the competition stumbled. Starting out strong has given it momentum which has proven to be so useful that the X1 has been unable to close the gap so far. It also has a good controller with the exception of battery life, a good OS, the best versions of most of the third party games, and my personal favorite system design. And they captured the casual market like Nintendo did with the Wii last gen by doing the best job at marketing.
That is why the PS4 is selling.

          • awang0718

Yeah. Reading the damage control “Nintendo is perfect they do everything right they are peeeerrrrrfect they can do no wrong” and “Sony is a piece of shiiiiit they are evil they are the devil PS4 sucks PS4 fails Sony gonna bankrupt soon…” boggles my mind. Do people actually want Nintendo to improve by adapting the success of their competition, or do people want Nintendo to continue doing THE EXACT same thing they are doing right now, which I can guarantee is the road to irrelevance.

          • alex9234

You really shouldn’t comment on things that you don’t understand.

“Nintendo is perfect they do everything right they are peeeerrrrrfect they can do no wrong” - Are you just putting words into everyone’s mouths? We never said that Nintendo was perfect. What I’m saying is that the issues that you’re attacking Nintendo for, like 3rd party support, and the Wii U’s poor performance, are out of their control and there is nothing they can do about it. I’m not saying this as a fanboy. I’m saying this as someone who realizes that things can take a turn for the worst if you let the “fans” run your company. You don’t tell a company that’s been around for over a century, that survived both World Wars and the Great Depression how to manage themselves. You just don’t.

“Sony is a piece of shiiiiit they are evil they are the devil PS4 sucks PS4 fails Sony gonna bankrupt soon…” - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBsnGZ64VJI

“Do people actually want Nintendo to improve by adapting the success of their competition, - So, Nintendo should do what Sony and Microsoft did last generation and lose billions of dollars on developing expensive hardware that has issues like the RROD, and bribing 3rd parties for support. That’s basically what you are saying.

” which I can guarantee is the road to irrelevance.” - The 3DS is currently the best selling game system of the 8th generation…what were you saying again? If you think Nintendo is becoming irrelevant than you clearly have a limited understanding of how business works. Sega didn’t become irrelevant because the Dreamcast didn’t sell, they became irrelevant due to poor business choices and management. Sega had MULTIPLE failed hardware - Sega CD, 32X, Nomad, Pico, Game Gear, Saturn, Dreamcast. Sega let 3rd parties like EA and Namco have their way with them. Sega failed to build franchises as popular as Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros. Sega never had the handheld sales leader to back up their console sales. Nintendo is NOWHERE near Sega’s level of desperation with the Dreamcast. Nintendo is not Sega, they’re not becoming irrelevant, the Wii U is not the next Dreamcast. Sure, Nintendo did lose money on the 3DS originally, but they’ve been making bank off it for quite some time now. Same with the Wii U - the losses that Nintendo took from the Wii U when it came out were caused by currency exchange. Plus, they also made some “secret” purchases during that time as well (ex: Monolithsoft). Nintendo is a big company that doesn’t need to grow to survive or stay relevant.

          • awang0718

I speak as someone who is genuinely concerned for the success and future of Nintendo (particularly as a console manufacturer). Console sales have hit all-time record lows. ALL-TIME LOWS. Nintendo may finally be profitable (or at least the Wii U’s losses don’t overtake amiibo + 3DS profits), but the Wii U simply didn’t work and Nintendo is going to move on.

And when did I say Nintendo should do what Sony/Microsoft last generation? I’m saying they should do what Sony (not so much Microsoft with all those Xbox One price cuts) are doing THIS generation, with profitable yet powerful hardware, a good online infrastructure, a plethora of feature & capabilities, and excellent 3rd party support. Nintendo doesn’t have a profit-sucking mobile/TV/PC divisions like Sony, so if the NX is built with the that strategy in mind, Nintendo’s profits, sales, and mindshare will skyrocket. Even if they aren’t “winning” the console wars, they will at least be doing better than they are right now sales/profit-wise, with a better stigma and public image.

Of course, Nintendo doesn’t have to change at all. They can continue with their current path, with cheap & underpowered hardware, some kind of “new, innovative, casual-magnet” controller, very few features & capabilities, and no third party support. Because I sure as hell wouldn’t buy the Nintendo’s next hardware if that was the case. I may be a fan, but I will NOT buy some random box with the word “Nintendo” plastered on it. I guarantee you if the NX is another Wii U, then Nintendo’s console business will be in jeopardy. It doesn’t matter if you have a load of money in the bank when nobody will buy your products you sell. Shareholders will eventually force Nintendo to leave the console business if it becomes clear to them that Nintendo has no place in the market.

          • alex9234

So…you’re wrong…you know you’re wrong…but you refuse to admit it even though you just did?

“I speak as someone who is genuinely concerned for the success and future of Nintendo (particularly as a console manufacturer).” - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZVYnRxNHxk&list=PL4F467A0D0621C775&index=5 - Watch the video from 8:12-11:32. Don’t dismiss him.

“And when did I say Nintendo should do what Sony/Microsoft last generation? I’m saying they should do what Sony (not so much Microsoft with all those Xbox One price cuts) are doing THIS generation, with profitable yet powerful hardware, a good online infrastructure, a plethora of feature & capabilities, and excellent 3rd party support.” - Console power is a red herring, or else 3rd parties would have never supported the PS1 and made everything for the N64 and Saturn, and the Xbox and GameCube would have split the 3rd party market in the 6th gen while the PS2 would have been left to die. As for Nintendo getting 3rd party support back, where were they when the Wii and DS were trouncing EVERYTHING for YEARS? Where are they on the 3DS? 3rd parties held tight to the dream of the HD twins making them money, along with taking the bribes from Sony and Microsoft. Today, Capcom is in trouble, Square Enix is in trouble, Sega is in trouble, Konami is in trouble, Hudson, THQ, Midway, and LucasArts, and many other studios are gone. If we were going to see a shift in 3rd party support back to Nintendo platforms we would have been seeing signs of it by now. And besides, 3rd parties are all going under these days. Who cares. Nintendo doesn’t need them and they have had no need for them since the N64 days.

“Of course, Nintendo doesn’t have to change at all. They can continue with their current path, with cheap & underpowered hardware, some kind of “new, innovative, casual-magnet” controller, very few features & capabilities, and no third party support. Because I sure as hell wouldn’t buy the Nintendo’s next hardware if that was the case.” - If you only buy Nintendo consoles for 3rd party support or for multimedia features than YOU ARE NOT A NINTENDO FAN. Nintendo consoles have never been about 3rd party games or multimedia features, Nintendo consoles have always been about Nintendo games first. If you are so obsessed with 3rd party support and multimedia features, then go buy Sony and Microsoft’s consoles. We won’t miss you. And if you say that Nintendo uses cheap & underpowered hardware, then I take it that you didn’t like the NES because that was pretty much ancient technology when it came out. And besides, they’ve always been going down this “current path” that you’ve described since they entered the gaming industry. If you don’t like Nintendo anymore, then move on. Nintendo isn’t for you anymore.

“I guarantee you if the NX is another Wii U, then Nintendo’s console business will be in jeopardy.” - No, it’s not. Do you listen to Michael Pachter? The dude pulls shit out of his ass! People have been saying that Nintendo’s console business was in jeopardy since the N64 days and it still hasn’t come true. I’m just going to leave this right here:

“Buried in reams of financial data is the revelation that Nintendo have 812.8 billion Yen (£6.7/$10.5 billion) in the bank – enough for it to take a 20 billion Yen loss (£163/$257 million) every year until 2052. Then there’s almost 469 billion Yen (£3.8/$6.0 billion) held in premises, equipment and investments. When that runs out – we’re in the year 2075 by this point – they’ve got some of the most valuable intellectual property in gaming to sell off before the company goes out of business.”

            And, once again:

Saying Nintendo is Going to end up like Sega is Asinine. Anybody who claims Nintendo will go the way of Sega after this generation fails to understand the circumstances that caused SEGA’s downfall. Sega had multiple failed hardware releases. The 32X, Sega CD, Saturn, Dreamcast, Pico, Game Gear and Nomad were all failures. Sega failed to transition Sonic to 3D well. Sega failed to build franchises as big as Smash Bros, Metroid, Zelda, Pokemon, Animal Crossing, and Donkey Kong. Sega’s franchises never reached the status of Nintendo’s top-tier IPs. Sega never had the market leader in the handheld space to help their console market. Nintendo is nowhere near Sega’s level of desperation with the Dreamcast. So if your one of those people saying that, please research Sega’s downfall to find out how Sega failed.

“It doesn’t matter if you have a load of money in the bank when nobody will buy the products you sell.” - And sales don’t mean crap if you’re not making any money. Look at the PS3 and 360. Both consoles sold over 80 million units (give or take a few RROD and YLOD buyers), but both console lost Sony and Microsoft billions of dollars. That’s not a success. That’s a failure. The Wii U may not be selling the best, but at least Nintendo is making money hand over fist. The losses that Nintendo suffered from the Wii U when it first launched were caused by currency exchange, nothing more.

“Shareholders will eventually force Nintendo to leave the console business if it becomes clear to them that Nintendo has no place in the market.” - Not if Nintendo is still profiting off their products. However, shareholders have been begging Microsoft to get rid of the Xbox division for quite some time now, why not talk about that? Why single Nintendo out? Nintendo’s shareholders have only really asked them to jump in on the mobile gaming “craze” and make some mobile games.

“I want a level-headed businessperson with a gaming background to run the company. A person who is ambitious, willing to adapt to market trends, and devoted to giving consumers the best the company can offer. As great as the late Iwata-san was at being a figurehead and Nintendo Direct presenter, he did not fit those characteristics very well.” - Wow! You actually posted this stupidity!

          • awang0718

“Console power is a red herring, or else 3rd parties would have never supported the PS1 …PS2 would have been left to die. “ – PS1 and PS2 weren’t nearly a generation behind in hardware specs relative to their competitors. Also, PS1 used dics, PS2 had DVD playback.

“As for Nintendo getting 3rd party support back, where were they when the Wii and DS were trouncing EVERYTHING for YEARS? Where are they on the 3DS?” – Third party games flooded the Wii and DS. Not everything was quality of course (blame the shitty licensed games/Nintendogs clones), but third parties were there. The Japanese third parties are still on the 3DS, though the western ones have mostly gone mobile.

“Today, Capcom is in trouble, Square Enix is in trouble, Sega is in trouble, Konami is in trouble, Hudson, THQ, Midway, and LucasArts, and many other studios are gone.” – As much as you probably hate them, Capcom &Square Enix are both fine (both are big 3DS supporters). The other ones are fucked, which is why I never mentioned them.

“If we were going to see a shift in 3rd party support back to Nintendo platforms we would have been seeing signs of it by now.” – So third party support is bad…okay then…

“And besides, 3rd parties are all going under these days. Who cares. Nintendo doesn’t need them and they have had no need for them since the N64 days.” – Which is why their console market has eroded so much, Wii fad aside.

“If you only buy Nintendo consoles for 3rd party support or for multimedia features than YOU ARE NOT A NINTENDO FAN. Nintendo consoles have never been about 3rd party games or multimedia features, Nintendo consoles have always been about Nintendo games first.” I buy Nintendo consoles for the whole package. First & third party games + features.

            “… then go buy Sony and Microsoft’s consoles.” – I will, don’t worry…

“We won’t miss you. “ – Nintendo sure will.

“And if you say that Nintendo uses cheap & underpowered hardware, then I take it that you didn’t like the NES because that was pretty much ancient technology when it came out.”
            – Comparing the Wii U to a 30 year old console…such an apt comparison…

“And besides, they’ve always been going down this “current path” that you’ve described since they entered the gaming industry. If you don’t like Nintendo anymore, then move on. Nintendo isn’t for you anymore.” – I love Nintendo games. I am starting to dislike their hardware. Honestly, if they actually continue their “current path” that I described (which started and will hopefully end with the Iwata era), then they may as well go third party.

“Buried in reams of financial data is the revelation that Nintendo have 812.8 billion Yen (£6.7/$10.5 billion) in the
bank … before the company goes out of business.” – Lol I would love to see the shareholders react when Nintendo’s CEO tells them that their plan is to keep making consoles that sell Wii U numbers for the next few decades.

“Saying Nintendo is Going to end up like Sega is Asinine…So if your one of those people saying that, please research Sega’s downfall to find out how Sega failed.” – Again, I would love to see the shareholders react when Nintendo’s CEO tells them that their plan is to keep making consoles that sell Wii U numbers for the next few decades.

“And sales don’t mean crap if you’re not making any money. Look at the PS3 and 360. Both consoles sold over 80 million units (give or take a few RROD and YLOD buyers), but both
console lost Sony and Microsoft billions of dollars. That’s not a success. That’s a failure.” – Which is why both companies altered their hardware manufacturing process for this generation (well, at least Sony did. Microsoft gave the Xbox
One one too many price cuts).

“The losses that Nintendo suffered from the Wii U when it first launched were caused by currency exchange, nothing more.” – No reasonable fluctuation in the value of the Yen/Dollar/Euro can possibly turn the losses that Nintendo suffered with the Wii U into profit.

“Wow! You actually posted this stupidity!” – Okay sure. Gonna be frank with you here. I am devastated than Iwata is dead, as nobody deserves to pass, especially at that age, but I am glad he is no longer Nintendo’s CEO.

How the hell do you know the the Nx will fail? do you know what it is?

          • awang0718

IF the NX is another Wii U , then it will fail.

          • alex9234

“It’s funny how people act as though the PS4 is absolute trash and it’s selling solely based on hype, media bias, and consumer stupidity.” - Um, it pretty much is. People are buying the PS4 mostly for it’s multimedia features, and announced games like the FFVII remake that probably won’t come out for a while now. And with the software attach ratio of the PS4 being abysmal, what else could possibly be pushing the system?

“And they captured the casual market like Nintendo did with the Wii last gen by doing the best job at marketing.” - But people aren’t buying the PS4 for games. Sure, “casuals” bought the Wii, but at least they bought the Wii to play games on it. A lot of PS2 owners weren’t traditional gamers, or gamers at all. Hell, the majority of the PS2’s sales can be attributed to people ONLY using it as a DVD player!

          • GreysonTetsuya

“What else could possibly be pushing the system?” I already answered that in my original comment.
And as to your second paragraph what you said doesn’t really matter. Casuals buy whatever is popular and that has helped PS4 hardware sales which is what I am talking about. I think it not only has the non-gamer casuals the Wii had but it also has the dude-bro casuals the Xbox 360 had. Keep in mind I don’t like either of them targeting the casual audience but I do realize that it has helped both of them be successful.
I hope you understand my position a little better now.

          • FalconLawnch

            Sure bruh.

“PlayStation 2 has over 10,828 software titles, and 1.52 billion units of software were sold worldwide as of December 2010.[16]”

That’s an attach rate of nearly 10 games per console. You can keep telling yourself that the PS2 only sold because it was a glorified DVD player, but the numbers tell a different story.

          • D.M.T

Where did you get that information that PS2 has over 10 thousand games? There’s no way that PS2’s library is that big.

          • D.M.T

PS4 is not trash but it’s nothing to brag about. It is indeed selling based on hype, media bias and consumer stupidity or retardation. Other reasons for PS4’s success is brand loyalty (Sony fans being loyal to them), brand reputation and great 3rd party support.

          • GreysonTetsuya

Yes PS4 is nothing to brag about yet but I have faith in its future, especially after this E3. And you only are acknowledging things out of Sony’s control but as I pointed they did some big things to contribute to the PS4’s success themselves.

“The PlayStation remains something of a crown jewel for Sony, and the launch of the PlayStation 4 has been a masterclass, from a triumphant E3 launch event to demand exceeding supply at launch, and a comfortable sales lead over Microsoft’s Xbox One.”

            From the Gamespot article:

“The next-gen system’s performance continues to outperform Sony’s internal targets. Game income for the quarter soared to $195 million, and as a result Sony has
increased its full-year targets by $89 million.

Sales of PlayStation 4 were so strong that Sony claimed it was a key reason why revenue for the whole business climbed 7.2 per cent.”

            From the Technobuffalo article:

“Put plainly, the PlayStation 4 is kicking butt. Attribute that success to quality hardware, good branding, nice pricing and top-notch customer appreciation during an aggressive and strong marketing campaign. This is a company that managed to sway the adoration of gamers away from the Xbox platform, practically turning the Xbox One into a villain near E3.”

If you want to talk about the financial performance of Sony as a whole, then that is for another thread, on another topic, on another website. CilverKid’s question was regarding the success of the PS4, not Sony as a whole.

Also, I love how you picked the year-old articles, when PS4 sales were “only” at 13.5 million and not its current 25.3 million. lolol…

You accuse people of being Nintendo fanboys but here you are being a PS4 fanboy. Seems like you are what you hate.

          • awang0718

I’m quoting facts from the articles alex provided. If PS4 was losing money, I would quote that. If PS4 was making money, then I would quote that. Seems like the latter is what happened.

          • D.M.T

An opinion of Nintendo fanboys you say? You are very very ignorant my friend. It’s not even funny how ignorant you are. This generation sucks ass, especially if you compare it previous generations. This has nothing to do with being a Nintendo fanboy but we all know why you’re attacking Nintendo fans. Talking trash about Nintendo fans is cool thing to do and you’re a follower who believes PS4 is the best thing since sliced bread just because the media and fanboys said so. Pathetic.

“This generation sucks ass, especially if you compare it previous generations.”

This statement is an example of “Treating your own opinion as fact.”

I don’t trash Nintendo fans. I trash Nintendo fanboys who , to me, see no wrong in the company, just like how I would trash a Sony or Microsoft fanboy who think their companies can do no wrong (remember the Xbox fanboys claiming that the 2013 Xbox One with DRM would be a good thing?).

And when the hell did I say PS4 was “the best thing ever”? I simply listed some reasons why the PS4 was so successful. Did I say “PS4 da best, Xbox and Wii U sux”? No. Well, Mr. Touchdown obviously got a bit salty and responded by saying things like that “this is one of the worst generations of gaming ever.”

Less games is a good thing. It means less shitty licensed games (remember Shrek The Video Game?? Kung Fu Panda The Video Game??) and more focus on core video games.

Also, turn the fucking caps lock off. You sound like some lunatic fanboy who will throw a temper tantrum when somebody actually says something good about Nintendo’s “evil and satanic” competition.
