Nintendo of America Acknowledges fan Interest in Devil’s Third, will have news soon

Nintendo of America has finally given an update on Devil’s Third’s status for North America. The official Nintendo of America Twitter account has acknowledged that fans have interest in the game, and we should be getting some news soon.

    I told everyone from day one this game would get a direct in time. But people are so quick to bash NINTENDO FOR EVERYTHING.
    tHEY WAKE UP AND STRETCH GUESS WHAT THEY DID IT WRONG. Sorry bout the caps to lazy to change it.

    So glad they finally spoke up, now they need to address the whole “Fatal Frame is a digital only game” rumor bullshit.

        …Yet. We are still in July, Im positive the game is coming out in late Oct. so theres still time. Not to mention the game is about 16GB, add to the fact that Reggie said “A physical option will always be available” a couple of weeks ago. They just need to address it.

    I think there will be a direct in August where we will finally get info on this game, Fatal Frame 5, and maybe some more info on Metroid 3DS in order to try and make it more appealing to the haters.

    Even if they’re not publishing it at least we know they’re still overseeing the project, and if they are still publishing it then that’s all the sweeter.

    Most likely nintendo allowed anew third party publisher to gibe it a go with this definitely fun looking game. Bad quality this game doesnt have.

    While this tweet does not confirm that Nintendo of America is going to publish the game, it at least does confirm that Nintendo of America cares about this title and is likely going to have some kind of broadcast, whether that be a Nintendo Direct or a Twitch stream, that features or even focuses on this game.

    Wonder what Mr. Robertson is thinking about this tweet…?

    I’ll say wait till Nintendo actually says they’re the ones publishing it before reacting to anything.

      They pretty much confirmed they were in the tweet. Even if they’re outsourcing it to some other company, they’re still involved in some way, which is a far cry as to what Unseen64 was trying to say they were doing.

        Not necessarily this could be another co-publishing deal with Xseed.

        Not to mention Shawn Long, of Nintendo Enthusiast was told by Nintendo of America members that they weren’t handling the game.

        Obviously things change but the rumor was very much true till Nintendo address the rumor today. Good on Nintendo for actually publishing the game if that’s the case, but the tweet is to vague for me to believe that they will be the sole publisher of the game.

          If they’re involved with the game at all, they’re still involved. That’s a far cry from what Unseen64 was saying, in which NOA was abandoning the game completely.

        They are. I feel as if Unseen64 is just trying to promote himself by using 4chan esque shitposting tactics: Everything he’s been saying is practically word for word for what Nintendo’s critics on /v/ have been saying ever since the NX got announced.

      I can’t believe people take his word as truth. He might be good on past projects, but future ones is not his forte.

        This had nothing to do with him being out of his element: He was deliberately slanting what he was told in order to make Nintendo (And Itagaki, by extension) look bad, possibly for his own gain. His Nintendo ‘leaks’ have been spread everywhere, particularly after his statement about the NX.

      tell me about it lol. I don’t know how many Nintendo gamers group I lefted in the past month after E3 on facebook who only talk about NX and all the crying.

      Then I was gonna leave some more non Nintendo gamer group who believed unseen64 rumors.
