I swear every time they give a percentage complete update its 65%.

Didn’t they say it was “65% complete” this same time last year?

nah last time they said it was 50% done.

Dont worry, they will change engine at 80% completion and knock release back another 12 months.

People who say this may be on the NX, remember it took them long enough to make this game and added another system, while still possible, would take some time and either increase its release date or push the NX’s release further then the others. Also if this is the same company to say one of their games is coming to NX, then why wouldn’t they say another is?

Here’s the best reason I can think of: NDA. Non-Disclosure Agreement. The same reason why SquareEnix ended up backtracking in their announcement for DQXI. I don’t think Nintendo is ready for them to spill the beans, hence why they had to change it to a “considering.” I think they intend to make it a surprise. At least that’s how I see it.

I figured as much. That’s going to be an awfully long time to wait for people. But on the flipside, it could mean a potential port for NX. Of course that depends on what it is. But if NX potentially getting DQXI is any indication, it MIGHT happen, it might not.

However, to say that thirds are going to automatically ignore NX no matter what screams premature to me. We don’t even know WHAT kind of system it will be. The whole “third parties hate Nintendo” is BS. Now as to whether they will get back to NX is another matter, but as of right now no reason to assume either direction.

Tabata came out and stated that its not coming out in 2015, but its not coming out in 2017, so he confirmed a 2016, he did this because of the pressure given to him by fans and their negative feedback at Gamesom

“At the very least, I can tell you that it isn’t going to be released this year,” Tabata told GameSpot. “I think we’ll be able to tell you when we’re making the announcement around PAX Prime, at the end of this month.”

Tabata added, “I understand why people are feeling that way after coming to Cologne and speaking to a lot of the media,” he said. “We really do get the feeling that people are a bit worried. Certainly, one thing I would like to say to them to reassure them, is that we’ve set down the release date, we know when it is, and we’ve got a complete road map lined up, right up to launch, and we’re proceeding along that as planned.

Then, Tabata dropped the biggest hint at the game’s release window. “We can certainly say to people: it’s not going to be 2017. It’s going to be before that.”

At this rate Final fantasy XV shall be releasing on the NX or the other Console Nintendo releasing whether it will be the Home console or the Handheld, or a Fusion lol!

    • Travis Touchdown

No, they’re not going to do that. We all know how this goes: The NX is going to be ignored by third parties because of some unforeseen ‘problem’ that shouldn’t really be an issue to begin with.

      • alex9234

And that ‘problem’ would be Sony and Microsoft bribes.

        • PRIMUS

          Indeed.

Hope it comes out next year.
