F7F1CWb

Xenoblade Chronicles X has got its first video with English voice actors. And I have to say, it’s pretty solid compared to the Japanese voice acting. Check out the video below.

I think it’s done well so far. :)

  • Nin12gage

So far so good for the dub

  • *NormalGamer*

Will be looking forward to playing this game; gonna miss the british voice acting in the original XC. ^_^

Still going to have to replenish my amazon.com balance first, though; as well as my e-Shop balance.

Sounds pretty good dubbed. I never complain about dubs or watch subs though lol. Lip syncing is a bit lackluster but not too important to me.

    • Mega Prime

Yeah, the lip syncing was really bad. On the plus side, the voice acting was decent.

My curiosity has killed me. Don’t look up fan-art of Elma. In fact, don’t look up Elma at all. It’s spoiler-heavy.

Like what Im hearing so far, cant wait to get this game.

  • Max Patterson

    I’ve done it.

One of the best memes I saw during this clip was “Nintendo is for kids, brought to you by “Damn!””

    • Jon Turner

Yeah, that’s a great way to crush stereotypes.

      • Max Patterson

It’s like Nintendo may seem childish but in a lot of their games there are darker elements.

        • Hardin Twentyfive

If you saw Fatal Frame… A Nintendo exclusive has you kill Ghost kids.

          • Max Patterson

Oh I saw that. Want to see one of their more um…interesting costumes for that game?

          • Hardin Twentyfive

            …Sure

            lol

If this game has a Miiverse community… Oh god.

          • Max Patterson

We’re about to be surrounded by perverted photos.

          • Wonder Dean

            We weren’t before?

          • Titangamecube

I think we’ll have the first X rated miiverse community.

          • Hardin Twentyfive

            And Nintendo is for families.

          • Jet Hammer

            Rated X for Xpand!

          • Titangamecube

EXPAND DONG….I had to Im sorry.

          • Macreen Smith

It can’t be worse than Zero Suit Samus support community or the Bayonettas right?

          • Hardin Twentyfive

Uhhhh….Depends if pictures are allowed on the community

          • WSJ4L

Come on guys, she probably didn’t want to get ectoplasm on her clothes…

          • Max Patterson

            Oh but she still will…

          • Hardin Twentyfive

Let me show you the door…and since it’s dangerous to go alone, take some plastic.

          • Ray01X

The Japanese are officially the best lingerie designers in the world. XD

  • Hardin Twentyfive

Ah, the laughter I gained from Twitch when Elma said “Damn.”

    • Andyjoe522

I don’t know if this happened in the Twitch stream, but in the YouTube stream something went wrong after they finished showing Federation Force, and they cut to the audio to the dub video. The video was still on the overview of the Treehouse stage, but we just heard a random woman say “damn.” I didn’t know what happened until they showed the dub video.

      • Hardin Twentyfive

That happen in the Twitch stream as well. I was like WTF?

  • Wonder Dean

Of course it’s promising. Almost all of Nintendo’s localizing efforts have been really good.

    • Mega Prime

Heck, even the new Star Fox has improved upon those terrible voices from the old games.

  • Jon Turner

It DOES sound great. I’m trying to figure out who the VAs are, but Lynn sounds a bit like Heather Hogan as Collette from Tales of Symphonia, or Amanda Pace from A Letter To Momo. Elma sounds ROUGHLY like Jennifer Hale. I could be mistaken, but I like what I’m hearing, too. The dubbing was done quite well on the original, and it’s gratifying to hear they’re doing a great job on this, too. I wonder which dubbing studio is directing this?
