    Valhalla released some new tidbits on their website.

    Interesting bits I noticed:

    The PC game is EXCLUSIVE, which apparently means that it is not the same thing as the Wii U’s online mode.

    Nintendo now co-owns the IP with Valhalla. Apparently, they did allow the PC version to happen.

    There’s still no specific NA launch date.

    They keep describing Devil’s Third online as a ‘service.’ Which kind of confuses me.

    Here is the first (as far as I know) English preview of Devil’s Third. The person who wrote this has been teasing about this on Tomonobu Itagaki’s Facebook page for the last week. And it shows screenshots we’ve not seen before, so I believe this is legit.

    The preview also states that the American release date is August 26. Now, this person is from Greece, so his English is a little choppy, but I don’t believe this release date is a translation error.

      Hey what are your thoughts on the 2 different versions of the game? The way I see it is: If you bought/tolerated Pokemon and the Zelda Oracle games, then it really doesn’t matter. I have seen games with 2 different sides of the story packed in on one disc but my complaints about having that are: Either the two stories aren’t fleshed out enough or the gameplay is lacking, both of which can hurt a game.

    Unfortunately, Devil’s Third will only be available in Japan from Amazon meaning that Nintendo doesn’t have much confidence in the title within its own country.     BREAKING NEWS- Nintendo of Japan has uploaded an EXCLUSIVE sneak peek of Devil’s Third including commentary from creator/director Tomonobu Itagaki himself. It looks way much better than the pre-alpha trailer from last year. Although it’s not translated in English, but there’s a possibility it may be shown during the Nintendo Digital Event, but let’s not overhype it just yet.

    Halo 5 Info Blowout

    -20+ maps at release, 15+ free DLC maps added by June of next year

    -Squad Commands will be in for AI teammates, apparently similar to Republic Commando (343i Creative Director Timothy Longo was the Lead Designer on Republic Commando back when he worked at Lucas Arts). Commands include attack, picking up a specific weapon, driving a vehicle, using a turret, and reviving a downed teammate.

    -No splitscreen co-op, but drop-in/drop-out online co-op is available, allowing additional players to play as AI squad mates. Each chaarcter will have a different starting loadout and unique HUD. The old co-op respawn mechanic has been replaced, you now have to revive downed teammates. A gold subscription isn’t required for online co-op.

    -All multiplayer Spartan Abilities are also available in singleplayer. Ground pound has been moved from a right stick click to holding down the right bumper.

    -Locke’s Team is called Fireteam Osiris. Members are Edward Buck (introduced in Halo 3: ODST), Holly Tanaka (introduced in Halo Escalation), and Vale Olympia (new character that will be introduced in an upcoming book named “Hunters in the Dark”).

    -Singleplayer map design is less linear, there are alternative paths through levels, including some that are more stealthy, such as sneaking through a vent in order to flank a group of enemies.

    -A brand new Multiplayer Game Mode is in development, no details yet, other than that it uses all aspects of the Halo 5 sandbox (Big Team Battle replacement?)

    -Locke’s team has access to a new system caled ATS (Artemis Tracking System) which can be used to search for clues, useful for hunting Blue Team. This system will also make finding alternative routes through levels easier than it is for Blue Team to find them.

    -Joe Staten has no official role on the Halo dev team, he’s working on other MS Studios games, though he is writing a new Halo book that will be released in December.

    -The audio team is not reusing any sounds from Halo 4, they’re re-recording everything in order to better take advantage of next-gen technology.

    -Beta feedback has reen used to redesign certain aspects of the multiplayer, for instance the map Empire has seen some changes, such as certain entry points into the bases being closed off.

    -New symmetrical multiplayer map that features an underwater research facility. Heavy red/blue coloring for easy navigation and callouts.

    -Cortana’s “ghost” will appear some in Halo 5. Apparently caused by Chief’s memories of Cortana.

      …so why not scale down the tire model? You don’t have to go that crazy on it. If you can’t get something to run on it without optimization, then just lower the poly count a bit, no big deal. We understand that the Wii U version wouldn’t be as good looking as the other versions.

      Even as someone who wants to see third party support on WiiU, this is very unprofessional behavior on SMS’s part. It sounds like THEY are the real ones to blame for this debacle, not Namco. I don’t want to sound like a Namco defender to those who are against them, but they DID collaborate with Nintendo on SSB4 AND on Pokken. AND they’re still providing games to 3DS and working on that Project Treasure thing for WiiU. It sounds like the REAL problem is with Slightly Mad Studios themselves. For being dishonest and lying and even downright insulting. This is unprofessional on their part and I hope Namco blacklists them from ever working with them again because no third party developer should get away with this BS, ever.

            I think they knew in the beginning they weren’t going to release it on the Wii U, since they haven’t been providing any content for the Wii U version since their original announcement. I would not be surprised if they intended to capitalized the Kickstarter campaign on the promise of a Wii U version in the first place, simply because they knew it would generate a lot of publicity and they diverted most of the funding over to the PC version, and later the lackluster PS4 & Xbox One ports.

            I lost a lot of interest in Kickstarter campaigns nowadays because of things like this, there are too many campaigns that fail to deliver on their promises in comparison to honest campaigns.

            A friend showed me the campaign, I didn’t want to touch it since there’s nothing provided that clearly demonstrates he will be delivering on his claims other than using his own name. I’m especially concerned about the lack of gameplay footage other than a scant few concept artworks, not an actual footage of the game, so there’s barely even any work pushed into this project, even though Igarashi could have put some of his own money to start the project, but he didn’t. The idea they announced the Wii U as an afterthought is not exactly promising either, since there have been numerous claims in these campaigns about a PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 versions that never come into fruition. If I were to fund this project, I would only expect the PC version.

            People tend to forget Kickstarter campaign claims are not guarantees, it’s marketing to help boost the campaign’s funds. Only a handful of games have delivered on their campaign promises, such as Shovel Knight. But most are still “in production” or they’ve diverted funds to other portions of the game they announced. When people put money into Kickstarter campaigns, they must realize they’re investors, not actual customers.

Basically, even if people want their money back for this scam, the won’t get it, because Slightly Mad Studios didn’t agree to any specific crowdfunding terms or contractual obligations to their backers.

      The non-Mature part narrows down the selection a lot. But it's still very hard to tell what it could be. Them saying it's their biggest game ever is interesting, as their first Wii U project was friggin' Mass Effect 3 (a VERY big game) and their second was the fairly popular Deus Ex: HR. Some possible options that weren't brought up in that article's comment section: Batman Arkham Knight, Dark Souls 2 HD, and Dragon Ball Xenoverse. I have a feeling this is going to be pretty big!

      As long as it's not Destiny, I'm pretty pumped.

        I have to admit that I am greatly curious myself. Either way, I'm all for more third party projects on WiiU. Some of my friends on WiiUForums.com suggested it MIGHT potentially be the KH remixes or even FFXIII trilogy, but… honestly, I don't know WHAT to believe.

          I'd buy the KH remixes, and MAYBE the FFXIII trilogy. FFX/X-2 HD could also be an option. Really though, for Square to have a change of heart after all this time would be odd, though I'd definitely support them if they did. There's also the fact that this game is supposed to a port of a next-gen title, and those games don't fit that definition. Who knows! It could be a game that hasn't been announced at all yet.

            It's only bleak on the Western front, the Japanese third-party support insofar has been disappointing. But I don't think it has ever been as bad as the West. And as always, there's still quite a bit of time for them to change their minds.

    And that pretty much confirms that main reason amiibo (and New 3DS XL) shipments have been so spotty is that the West Coast strike is complicating transportation of them and they can't be flown to the states like games can.     I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but Craptaku and other sites are now furious at the latest Law & Order: SVU episode, because the show decided to base an entire episode on GamerGate and it completely demonized the entire gaming community. Ironically people have mentioned this episode is entirely based on the garbage BS that Craptaku and those other sites have been spewing about the gaming community in the first place, so this entire episode is their own fault.

While the article seems to suggest that Sonic Boom didn't meet expectations, I personally think it's a miracle that both games combined managed to pull 500k considering how publicized the game's horrendous quality was.       Wow, that DOES look like a hardcore letdown. I will say this about FFXV and KH3; both made me hopeful that SE would at least regain their glory even though I will still disappointed at their lack of a confirmation for a WiiU version. But this? I'm sorry, but it looks like a very disposable exclusive. Does anybody really CARE about Spelunker these days? It's stupid and disappointing, too, considering SE's pedigree.

      Also, it doesn't even look particularly good. At all. It looks like a throwaway game that barely looks any better than a PS2 game. And here a lot of people mock WiiU's graphics! Now it looks like it's merely a case of the developer rather than the perception. There's very little about this game that looks compelling. Seriously, teasing fans for what turned out to be something that few will even care about? I see no major positives in this stunt.

      I knew it, and I had this friend swears on his life that Crash and Jak was gonna return lol NOPE because

      1. Sony's westernized now so anything that looks remotely cartoonish is an after thought compared to how they use to be in PS1/PS2 days.
      2. Activision has the rights to Crash and that IP is pretty much dead
      3. If Jak and Daxter was to make a return, it'll follow the current trends of Naughty Dog's IPs.

      People should get their head out of the clouds when Sony promises stuff years ago and still nothing has been said.

        Seriously? This program is absolutely horrible for people like Angry Joe. Specifically, look at this:

        "Q: If I registered a channel, will all of the videos in that channel be included in the Nintendo Creators Program?
        A: Yes, all videos in the channel will be included in the program. Please keep this in mind if your channel contains videos that do not include Nintendo intellectual property."

        If Angry Joe were to register his channel in this program, Nintendo would be entitled to make money on ALL of his videos, not just any videos about Nintendo. If he makes a video about Uncharted 4, Nintendo would be entitled to 30% of however much that video makes. Absolute bullshit.

          I have to agree with Trabuch on this one. And I'll be having a video soon on it.

          However, this program seems geared toward Let's Play people making new channels. Because Nintendo only claims certain songs in Mario Kart, some Mario Kart gameplay (not all) and certain trailers.

          I can monetize Smash Bros, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, and various other games all I want without joining this program.

          So there is no need for a guy like Angry Joe to join this program. I have not joined yet, and don't feel the need to. With normal networks, you can monetize your Nintendo content. I can monetize Wind Waker HD, The Wonderful 101, Kirby, and all sorts of games.

          Just stay away from trailers and certain Mario Kart 8 songs (although you can remove them via YouTube and get the claim taken away)

          If registering gives them access to all vids that is indeed a problem. Though my comment was mostly referring to concept rather than execution. Admittedly I didn't read too much about it since I don't make money off of Youtube. Plus it is a beta so it's by no means final. The official launch is several months away. They'd have plenty of time to revise that and they'd be able to change it over time as they get more feedback. I am gonna wait and see how this plays out first.

So anyone who registers for this service can give feedback to Nintendo so they can refine and improve their Youtube policies before it's official launch in late May.     Bandai has filed a DMCA claim against Durante…and more specifically DSFix. You know….the handy little tool that makes Dark Souls playable on PC and also enables all sorts of other goodies. Considering it doesn't use any of the actual code from Dark Souls and instead intercepts rendering calls (basically tells the GPU what to do before the game does, and overrides what the game wants)…..it's bullshit.

    He'll likely file a counter-claim…but still. He is pretty much the reason anyone has bought it on PC.

    I would KILL for another Dragons Dogma Game (aka MH4 Combat Tech Demo).

      1.Porting V and VI to mobile instead of the 3DS, two games that deserve 3D remakes? Makes too much sense

      2. Rereleasing a game previously released THIS YEAR like your uncreative AAA western counterparts instead of doing something new? It's the "hip" thing apparently

      3. Rereleasing FFVII but in a form of a straight port from Steam? Sign of desperation

        Honestly, I don't see this remaster going over very well in Japan. Name one "remastered HD" title in Japan that did exceptionally well. Go ahead, name it.

            And that was more than just a cheap and easy port. It was a full blown effort. A friend of mine is saying that putting this will sell PS4s in Japan, but on the flip side, that's just like saying that ZELDA HD WW will sell WiiUs in Japan. Now granted, Zelda isn't as popular in Japan, but on the other hand, did Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD really do anything for PS3 and PSV? And given how many people in Japan already own it and given how tiny the base is in Japan for PS4, who would really want to go out and buy it again? Even I see flaws in this decision.

    Yoshihisa Hashimoto, technical director of the Luminous Engine that powered the impressive Agni's Philosophy tech demo at E3 2012, along with the upcoming Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3 has reportedly parted ways with Square-Enix. While high turnover rates are often par for the course in the gaming industry, it's a little odd to see such a high ranking member of the project leaving well before major titles running on Luminous tech are even released.

    Moreover, a NeoGAF moderator regarded as a resident expert on all things Square-Enix and Final Fantasy commented on the news by expressing fear that this may just be "the tip of the iceberg."

    Prior to his time at Square-Enix, Mr. Hashimoto had worked at Sega as part of Sonic Team for over 10 years.

    Surprisingly low for Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Although I'm not sure why people are trying to compare it with Donkey Kong Country Returns though, that game was released 4 years after the launch of the Wii, which meant it had a bigger install base in comparison the the Wii U's current install base in Japan.

      Past DK sold at least a million in Japan. I think there is a platform fatigue a bit and of course being on Wii U did not totally help.

      West will do better, question is how much.

      Also 3ds decline in Japan isn't good either but we'll see. It needs more. Vita of course is kind of alive in Japan but even quite worse than Wii U in the rest of the world.

          3ds potential is still unknown in theory. It's amazing that 3ds is selling moderately well in the world rampant smartphones and how its hardware is quite much inferior to everything else.
          True, PS Vita also had some good holiday games come out recently. But Vita is also proof that powerful hardware doesn't translate into better sales.

          Which is why I was very pleased with their Unified OS future and hopefully, they did hint account based system. They could always do what Apple does make several tiered systems if they wished. It will become like their own Steam. Huge backlog.

          Microsoft tried and screwed it up. Playstation is going that route.
          Consoles may not die but evolve into something else.

          Here's the problem. Nintendo doesn't want to just stay profitable. They are very ambitious. Especially its size.Think about it less than 400 people company of Valve is a powerful force in PC. Nintendo is 5000. Which is a much bigger number but in a video game corporation world. That's pretty small in comparison to others yet they are very ambitious for its size and have more money.

            They aren't going to unless someone could convince them that they are better off making more money on software only and 3rd party rather than + hardware. Which is very hard to do. Not impossible but pretty hard. 3rd party dashes their any hopes for an ambitious future minus to do something like steam. In theory its plausible that their 3rd party route could be more profitable but it doesn't make them less vulnerable to market. In fact in some ways worse especially in the Western console market.

            Mid tier developers are nearly gone. AA are pinched away. AAA are feeling it to.

            Nintendo is one of the very few companies out there who has both low tier, mid tier, and AAA tier stuff regardless of how many titles they put out in amount.

            And western console market has turned into mass of indies on mobile, pcs and consoles. (Which isn't bad but lack of middle is bad), or AAA monsters. Not much everywhere else.

            You know, you're kind of digressing into a variety of topics we have actually no relevant information on seemingly to once again suggest Nintendo is in a trouble. It doesn't make any sense at all. You don't really predict the future of a company and how "problematic" it could be based on one week of Japanese sales, especially when 15 out of the top 20 games are Nintendo titles, most of which evergreen.

            Look at the PS Vita TV.With the same approach, since it was Sony, people dubbed it success at launch: now it's selling around 1K a week. You wanna get the big picture, just look and see how it unfolds without making predictions that usually do not stand the test of time.

      It depends on the ISPs actually, some companies provide Dynamic IPs automatically to customers, while charging extra for Static IPs in case people want to use it for business purposes such as setting domain registrations to direct traffic to the specific IP address. There are occasions where an ISP will actually provide a Static IP without charging extra, but people will have to request for a Dynamic IP address.

      There's also the other tricky thing, proxies. 😛 Basically these are fake addresses usually favoured by hackers or kiddie scripters. They can utilize these to mask their actual real IP address, but I doubt the one we're dealing with here is skilled enough to even use these.

      Stunning. This game should dispel talk of the Wii U not being powerful…on both the GPU and the CPU front. 1080/60fps and realistic physics processed at 240fps (VERY CPU taxing stuff there). Absolutely gorgeous.

      Each one of those was sold at a loss, and the attach rate is only around 2.5:1 or so. The Wii U may have sold poorly right after launch, but the attach ratio was at least around 5:1

      I'm pretty sure this is nothing but a marketing ploy from Ubisoft. There's a huge upsurge of people pre-ordering for the Wii U version now, for Ubisoft to cancel at this point will definitely end up hurting their own sales and their own stock value.

    Tell him Nintendo took it off the list in the report from the previous quarter because Ubisoft delayed the game, and the company hasn't announced a new release date since then. Nobody knows when Ubisoft is planning the new release date, it could be this year or the next. Nintendo's just being cautious about adding it for this quarter's report.

    The only reason why Gonintendo and the other sites are sensationalizing this is primarily due to clickbait potential, anyone who performed the simplest research would've discovered the game was removed from the list since October 31, 2013 when the game was officially delayed.

            There are, but oddly the program's restricted for Japanese indies. I'm not sure why, it may be a local law requirement for indies to require an actual office or publisher, since I don't see much Japanese indie games on PSN or XBL either.

    Nobody other than Nintendo really knows why it's removed from the list, it could simply be due to Ubisoft's decision to delay the game, so Nintendo decided to take the precaution to remove it in October 31, 2013 since they didn't know what's the release date, and simply forgot to add it back on the list for this report, or they're being cautious because the release date hasn't been set in stone by Ubisoft yet. People are only making a big deal about this now because of the recent issue with GameStop. :/

      I think you still need to buy the game as well, but it comes with 30 days included. So it's pretty hefty.

      Forgot to also mention the PC & Mac versions will be released on April 4, 2014, while the PS4 & XOne versions are releasing in June 2014. Furthermore the servers are separated between Europe and North America, and PC & Mac users can't play along with PS4 or XOne users. This was detailed in the CVG article I mentioned earlier today.

    This anonymous "source" could've planted those specific words from past articles just to distract people, that way people will just continue to push blame against EA without evidence, other than the fact it's a quote from an old Criterion article available for anyone to read.

    There's also a possibility the "source" simply plagiarized past articles, and perform minor edits to falsely incriminate the Wii U, only to make it sound like they know what they're talking about. After all most of the content in the article have been debunked by many people already, and a lot of the information sounds similarly to older claims which have been proven false once again.

    I'm not buying it. The Criterion dev specifically says that looking at the clock speed alone on two very different chips is like comparing apples to oranges….while the anonymous dev leans HEAVILY on the clock speed as the reason it "sucks."

    He also said in another interview that future NFS by them would arrive simultaneously as other versions, which negates the argument by the anonymous guy that they decided not to put any more games on the system. The anonymous guy would have mentioned the better documentation and support they got after the system launched if it had been Criterion, instead they spoke as though they released their game with no extra support….and then bailed.

    THQ or 2K is my bet. People from THQ were the first to openly complain about the CPU and NBA 2K13 failed miserably sales-wise…and from what I understand it has some online issues as well.

    One more big flag is that he was informed of the Nintendo reps being in the building….after they had already visited once or twice. He is so low on the totem pole that he had no idea Nintendo would be coming in. They don't just "pop in" to pitch their new hardware….things like this are planned long in advance.

    The entire thing is anecdotal anyway since it is one guy's experience. It makes no more sense than applying the supply of systems in the Target I work at….to the overall picture. One instance, one perspective.

      I gotta say, I am STUNNED. I was not expecting Wii U sales to hold up so well week on week given how the holidays are ending. It'll probably start averaging 20-30k a week bar when big first party games release. I think the Wii U will be able to handle the PS4 quite well in Japan. Especially Mario Kart 8 around the corner. Taiko is also showing good legs. I think the series has a potential on Wii U.

      Also, look at those Vita sales! Wonder if they'll slump back down again…

    At the store I work at……we haven't even sold through our pre-christmas shipment. We now have 20 X1's sitting around in our back room and like…..3 Wii U's left (I'll double check that number tomorrow). 0 PS4's, but we have only gotten around 24 in or so….total. MAYBE 36.

    Point is…..X1 has a bunch of stock that just isn't selling, likely due to the lack of backwards compatibility (parents REALLY don't like that it and the PS4 aren'tt) and the ridiculous price tag.

    Once I'm able to get Wii Fit U downloaded (I KNEW I should have done that before Christmas *sigh*) the Fit Meter will provide another jumping off point to talk about the Wii U. The fact that the Fit Meter is a fraction of the cost of a Fit Bit will be a huge draw considering it does basically all the same things.

If XOne was experiencing the same shortage, then I would've agreed to this article, but the fact that people can walk into a store and pick up the console at any moment, pretty much indicates this writer manipulated the news to give Sony some type of positive spin.     - Final Fantasy XIII: Lightning Returns is nowhere to be found while Super Mario 3D World remains in top 5: remember that both games launched the same week and that, as the data shows, the PS3 currently has more than 6 times the install base of the Wii U in Japan;

    - the top 20 belongs to Nintendo: the only non-Nintendo games in top 20 are brand-new PS3 and PSV games — the ONLY brand-new games this week -, none of them being able to dethrone a last-week 3DS game (PazuDora) and a two-month old 3DS game (Pokémon): with ALBW releasing tomorrow in Japan, next week's top 20 could very well end up all-Nintendo if Sony doesn't have any major release;

    - no Christmas bump for PS3, PSVTV, Wii, 360: I honestly believe a videogame console that doesn't bump at Christmas (aka the biggest videogame sales period in the year) is a platform done for growth;

    - little bump for the PSP: that's the portable Japanese market right here;

    - serious bump for Vita, Wii U and 3DS: these are the platforms that will define the Japanese market in the upcoming year;

    Now that's clearly the Nintendo fan speaking:

    - 3DS: no comment;

    - Wii U: Wii U actually sold about 2 times what the Vita did, and we know Japan is predominantly a portable market……… I should start counting the days until we see them PlayStation classics on the Wii U Virtual Console. 😀

    RTU's a massive hypocrite, he also needs to stop overreacting over a commercial. What's so freaking wrong with advertising to a specific audience? Last time I checked as well, an iPad cannot pull off an experience such as the Wii U, it doesn't have 5 player support and great party games.

    Nintendo is focusing on the casual audience because they need the sales, and the numbers are showing it, and they know they will go crazy over a new Nintendo console, especially if advertised properly, and it is so. Hardcore games (and I mean real hardcore gamers, not the Call of Duty kids that say swag every 5 seconds and fratboys addicted on Madden) would already know to pick up the Wii U due to the line-up, AND after that, Nintendo is going to advertise Donkey Kong and Smash Brothers when they are close to release.

    It's not too difficult for these criminals to create viruses for PS4 and XOne, since the consoles use the PC architecture. Furthermore they have incentive to install malware for these consoles, especially since people are providing private and credit card information to these services. With the lack of antiviruses, malware detection, or Adblocks, the consoles are a gold mine for these criminals.

    FYI I find this news a bit concerning, especially with all the mobile games push most Japanese developers/publishers have been doing lately.. News like this will just encourage them to focus more on mobile apps.

      The thing is I'm actually astonished to find out is that the biggest smartphone games market in the world is also the biggest handheld (3DS) market thereof.

      Apparently both platforms can coexist, and it does bother me the slightest if smartphone are for shovelware and handhelds are for quality experiences: that might actually help handhelds to have less junk and more quality content.

          Actually it reached the goal earlier because they had a PayPal system running at the same time. So adding the PayPal and Kickstarter funding allowed them to pass the goal easily.

    Would have been better with a 7990 or a 290x to be perfectly honest. Both outperform the Titan and are more cost-friendly. I mean….the 290x is about half as much as the Titan and outperforms it…….that's just crazy.

      Indeed, now you know why many people are going with AMD now. Better performance for less money (although admittedly they can produce quite a bit of noise and heat if you have a stock card, if you have something like Direct CUII, you should be better off though). Hell, Physx isn't worth it either, too distracting and apparently it would work better on the CPU anyway

    Best way to avoid it? Stop. Just…stop. 2-3 years without a release of any kind…no anniversary collections, no DLC for Ascension, no teasers…lock it up tight. Then, unveil an insanely gorgeous return at E3 2016 or so to be released that fall.

    Also known as….the Nintendo method. Well…aside from the whole…keeping the lid on it as far as Zelda goes. They know they just have to get on stage and say "Zelda, 2014" and people would lose their minds with excitement.

    So 2K games beat EA for this DRM requirement? Well, here comes the first wave of 3rd party DRMs for PS4 and XOne, and the disturbing part is due to the fact this was through a patch. That means these companies could easily mislead the public in the beginning after all the reviews are out, and add on the DRM months after their consumers purchased their games.

Yeah Nintendo should be solely to be blame when its only partly for them to be blamed but I can't really say it was a stupid move for the lack of games earlier in the year when 3rd parties had the window but failed miserably and the VGX awards proved that 3rd Parties, especially western ones, are lazy as hell. The moment you say "Someone should be fired at Nintendo", all credibility was lost. But then again Friendly Ai, you are irrelevant.

            FYI I know some people might disagree with their statement concerning Nintendo's digital presence, but I kind of understand why they're unwilling to take a risk, since it is an old game, and not everyone who have purchased a Wii U will buy the game. They're a small indie developer, not a huge 3rd party company with a large budget after all, so any extra development for a Wii U version could damage their budget if it doesn't sell enough to cover the costs.

      I felt sorry for the handheld a long time ago… First it's treated as a port system advertised as a console, then it's an afterthought Wii U competitor as a controller, now it's facing nothing but even more ports once again.. I have yet to see this handheld treated as a handheld by Sony… :/

        If it's something positive like a indie game coming to Wii U, that's fine but when you have a known troll analyst like Michael Pacther, Adam Sessler, etc. those guys don't have proper information to backup their claim and what they say often contradicts themselves. Prior to Pikmin 3, Sessler said it doesn't sell consoles, yet the Wii U had a sales boost. They are paid by Microsoft and some big gaming sites like GameTrailers to badmouth Nintendo because they don't give in to money hatting 3rd parties or make shooter after shooter.
